Construction of Cement Concrete Ramp to Weigh Bridge no. 7 and Weigh Bridge no 8, of Kodingamali Bauxite Mines, in the District of Koraput.

Civil works

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches for columns, basement, tie beams, walls and steps in all kinds of soil including moorum, stoney earth and earth mixed with boulders ( except sheet rocks and boulders requiring for blasting) including dressing and levelling the bed up to the required depth and depositing the excavated materials at places away from the work site with all leads and lifts, T&P shoring and shuttering and dewatering if required etc. comp. as directed by EIC.

Filling foundation and plinth with river sand, well watered, rammed including cost, conveyance, royalties of materials, cost of all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete as per direction of EIC.

Providing & laying of plain cement concrete of prop.(1:3:6) in foundation using 40 mm. size crusher broken hard granite metal of approved quality from approved quarry including lowering, laying concrete to required levels laid in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including cost, conveyance, royalties of all materials, watering and curing and cost of all labour, T&P required for the work etc. compleete as per direction of EIC

R.C.C. work of M-20 having minimum compressive strength of 200 kg./cm2 in 15cm cubes at 28 days and in accordance with I.S. 456 and I.S. 516 using crusher broken hard black granite chips of approved quality & from approved quarry including hoisting, lowering, laying and compacting concrete with vibrator, watering and curing for 28 days, cost of rigid and smooth centering & shuttering and finishing to exposed surface smooth providing, grooves or beads wherever necessary including cost, conveyance, royalties & taxes of all materials and cost of all labour, T&P etc. as required for the work complete in all respects as per drawing, design and direction of Engineer-in-charge but excluding cost of M.S. rod/Tor steel and binding wires and labour charges for bending, binding and tying the grills and centering and shuttering

Supplying all materials for centering and shuttering and finishing the exposed surfaces smooth, providing beads or grooves where necessary including cost, conveyance, royalty of all material, dismantling the centering, shuttering work after the period as specified by the EIC and cost of all labour, T&P required for the work comp. in all respect. in Foundation

Supplying HYSD bars of approved quality size and grade and cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills in proper position as required for the RCC work in Ground Floor including cost, conveyance of HYSD bars Fe500 and above including binding wires of 18 to 20 gauge and cost of labour,T & P and other materials complete in all respact as directed by the EIC.(Linear measurements will be taken & quantity will be calculated on standard weight. Weight of binding wire, overlap, chairs will not be considered for measurement)

Filling foundation trenches and plinth with excavated earth including laying the earth in layers Each exceeding 23.5cm (9”) thick ramming and watering with all leads and lifts including cost of all labour, T&P etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing Close graded Granular subbase Grading-II material as per table 400-1, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Clause 401 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub-base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS-383 the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, aggregate cement ratio not to be exceeded 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per Table 600.1. cement content not to be less than 150kg/Cum. Optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, contrete strength not to be less than 10Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher placement to site, compaction with vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc completed with cost conveyance and of all materials Hire and running charges machineries and cost of all labour, T&P etc. completed as per the direction of EIC.

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M-30 (Grade) corase and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383 maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing) including supplying and fixing of 25mm mild steel dowel bars 500 mm long, 200mm c/c, and 12mm deformedsteel tie bars and spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous opertation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, near approaches to bridge / culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14 days curing compund (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and technical specification Clause: 1501 and direction of EIC.
