This work also includes purging arrangements(soluble/removal dams), cleaning the welded joint, carrying out visual inspection, repairing of weld joint if any, removing purging arrangements, engraving , preparation & submission of reports & as built drawings for acceptance. This work also includes removal of the unused material from the modified pipelines out of the building, shifting to NPCIL stores for deposition, material accounting and arrangements of man power, plant & machinery ,tools & tackles, all consumables, cleaning aids etc. and completion of work as per tender specification and working drawings. Grit blasting and primer application on structure and pipe support material: Handling, transportation of material , girt blasting the surface to required roughness , supply of primer paint zinc anode 304 (NPC) of Berger make or Asian paints or other equivalent with prior approval from NPCIL, application of primer over the grit blasted surface for thickness of around 60-75 microns as per drawings and technical specification. This work also includes arranging manpower, tools & tackles, establishing the grit blasting facility, cleaning consumables, steel grit as per requirement, handling and shifting of material, preparation of reports and submission for acceptance
Supply and application of epoxy paint on metal structures and pipe support material: Supply of epoxy paint such as Apcodur 641CS of Asian paints or protectomastic of Berger paints or any other equivalent paint with prior approval from NPCIL for pipe, pipe support and other structures .This work includes storage, preparation & submission of IMIR for acceptance, cleaning the surface, application of two coats of paint over already primed surface of total thickness of 240 - 260 microns (including thickness of primer) at various elevations & locations as per drawings and technical specification. Erection and dismantling of scaffolding: Erection of scaffolding using standard MS pipes cross supports, MS clamps, for making approach/ working platforms and removal of the scaffolding , after the completion of work including arrangement of man power, plant & machinery , tools & tackles, consumables, and completion of work as per tender specification and working drawings. Note: The base size (plan) & height of scaffolding erected shall be considered for the measurement. No inclined supports, lateral support bracing etc. projected beyond base size shall be considered in measurement for payment.
Erection, welding and dismantling of temporary stainless steel pipe line for flushing of piping systems : Study of flow sheets and isometric drawings, identification of temporary loop requirements, marking on flow sheet & submission for acceptance. Identification of material required, receipt of material from NPCIL stores, Handling, transportation, marking , cutting, edge preparation, fit up , welding using GTAW & SMAW and pre fabrication of temporary spools, shifting to location, erection , fit up and welding in situ to as per requirement , carrying out inspection, generation of reports , obtaining clearance from NPCIL for cutting the erected spool, shifting the spool outside the building, handling & transporting back to NPCIL store and carrying out material accounting including arrangements of all man power, tools, tackles, P&M, consumables ( Except welding filler wires / electrodes) ,completion of work as per tender specification
Area Housekeeping: Housekeeping of area including cleaning the floors by sweeping & mopping and collection of waste, disposal at designated area, removal of dust , unwanted sticking, foreign particles etc., from the surface of equipment, pipelines, valves, etc., and collection and removal of debris like wooden scrap, woods, paper, cement blocks, solid mortar, sand, soil, aggregate, cut pieces of wires/cable, waste sheets, etc. from various areas (inside and outside the buildings ) and disposal at designated location by trailer/Tata 407.This work will be on operation day basis. One operation day means completing the above jobs once in all the above area, with deployment of 5 manpower on daily basis.
Dewatering including ,arranging, installation and operation of pumps: survey on daily basis on the water logging areas, making necessary arrangements, carrying out dewatering of sumps in various buildings and locations using dewatering pumps and connecting hoses, preparation of reports. This work also includes arranging manpower, supply of 8 no's of dewatering pumps(will be retained by NPCIL after completion of work order) of portable type, hoses up to 80NB size and all other required tools and tackles completion of work as per tender specifications.
Supply and commissioning of dewatering pumps with 3 phase and 5HP power rating and minimum discharge head of 20 meters and minimum discharge capacity of 400 LPM. This works also includes transportation, storage, moving the consignment to the working location, erection, testing and commissioning, maintenance of equipment's as specified in the technical specification,
carrying out dewatering of sumps in various buildings and locations using supplied dewatering pumps
Miscellaneous works: Obtaining clearances & carrying out miscellaneous activities like opening & tightening of flanges, replacing gaskets, replacing gaskets in thermowells , removing , cleaning & re-assembling of mechanical strainers etc as per the NPCIL requirements , preparation of reports and submission for acceptance. Study of working drawings , flushing schemes prepared by NPCIL, taking the field measurements, preparation of as built working drawings & reports, taking day to day instruction from NPCIL Engineer for supervising the site fabrication , erection , upkeeping activties, fluhsing activities such as OTO of valves, drain pipeline laying etc. One diploma supervisor performing such activity for 9 hrs a day ( including lunch hour) is considered as one operation.
