Provision of Water Softening Plant capacity of 100 KL Per Day at SGRDJ International Airport, Amritsar.

SH-A - Capital Work:

Design, supply, installation, connection, testing & commissioning of ion exchange based technology, regenaration type Water Softening Plant (suitable capacity for 100 KL Per Day) complete factory fitted and made of mild steel pressure vessel, internal distribution and collecting system, painted internally with anti-corrosive bitumastic paint, painted externally with a protective coat of red oxide primer. The system shall comprising of softening unit, salt saturation tank, connected pipelines, diaphragm valves, hydraulic ejector, fittings, other valves, sampling cock, pressure gauges, flow meters, one charge of ion exchange resin, saturated salt etc. complete ready to use at site as required for HVAC Plant and as per the technical specifications.

Design, supply, installation, connection, testing & commissioning of Multi Grade Sand Filter (suitable capacity for 100 KL Per Day) complete factory fitted and comprassing of pressure vessel in MS construction, frontal pipe work, valves, internals and first charge of filtering media, connected pipelines, fittings, valves etc. complete ready to use at site as required for HVAC Plant and as per the technical specifications.

Supply, installation, connection, testing & commissioning of 7.5 hp with Flow- 30 m3/hr, Head -35 meter mono block pump suitable for 415 Volt, 50 Hz, 3 phase AC supply with appropriate connection of suction and delivery header with valves etc complete as required (01W + 01S).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in foundation of pump motor, Water softening plant etc including form work etc as required.

SH-B - Annual operation & Maintenance Contract:

Operation and Maintenance of Water Softening Plant (Capacity 100 KL per day) for 08 hours each per day and complete maintenance of same for 03 years including deputing of 01 no. of skilled operator, all consumable (excluding Salt & Resin) to keep the plants operational and treated water as per requisite parameter of OEM/ O&M manual, rate are inclusive of cleaning of plants including all tanks & near by area, chemical dosing, repairing, greasing, overhauling of all pumps/ air blowers, repair of all electrical panel as per requirement, water testing report once in two months (Bi-Monthly) from approved NABL lab, nothing shall be paid extra to the contractor, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

First Year (only operation during DLP)

Second & Third year (Operation & Maintenance after DLP)

Regeneration with salt of above softener plant with approximate 350 kg salt including supply of salt etc. complete as required. This job is to be carried out over a period of 03 years as and when required to maintain the permissible hardness of the raw water.

Supply and replacement of resin for above water softening plant complete as required. This job is to be carried out over a period of 03 years as and when required to maintain the permissible hardness of the raw water.

Quarterly visit of OEM or his authorized representative or specialized agency and submitting report on quarterly basis including attending breakdown in same quarterly period as & when required (After DLP period).
