Relocating/Laying of 100mm ND GI Rising main pipe line at WSS G.B. Preng

Retrieving/Dismantling of existing 100mm GI Rising main pipes at different locations by way of slackening of fasteners. Fitting and relocating the existing/ dismantled 100mm dia GI Pipes at the appropriate locations as per the direction of the site Engineer. The job shall include excavation if required for laying of relocated pipes. The job also includes providing and fitting of RI Washers & fasteners as required for carrying out the Job.

Laying, (underground wherever needed to the steep and rocky areas), testing and commissioning of available 100mm departmental G.I pipes as Rising Main at site. The job includes providing and fitting of nuts, bolts, RI washers & 150mm nominal bore dia, 20mm thickness M.S Flanges conforming to BIS 6392/1997 Table 17 (Rating PN16). The flanges shall be double welded both from inside and outside of the pipe using standard electrode of reputed make. The job also includes arrangement of DG set, gas cutter, service line involved in the job, Labours for excavation of soil wherever required. The job involves carriage by headload approx. 2500 Mtrs up to the site. The job includes testing of rising main on full load after laying and followed by refilling back the excavated soil.

Providing and laying of cement concrete blocks for anchoring the rising main at various spots, each of size 1’x1’x2’ including excavation of earth work (wherever necessary) centering, shuttering, carriage of material by mechanical transport from 15kms lead and carriage by head load approx. 2500 Mtrs upto the site. (40 Nos or as per requirement).

Providing and fitting of 50 mm dia ARV as per IS 14845 to be fitted to GI rising main. The AVR shall have the following specifications: - Valve type: single chamber, single orifice End connection: flanged ends confirming to IS 1538 or screwed type confirming to IS 554 Maximum allowable working pressure: PN-16 Seating ring: EPDM Construction- ductile iron Coating- epoxy with corrosion resistance

Providing and fitting of ductile iron double flanged slanted seat swing check valve (NRV) 100mm dia as per IS 5312. The body shall be of ductile iron with fully encapsulated EPDM rubber (approved for drinking water).
