Supply and installation of MS fabrication with hot dip galvanizing on roof tops of different buildings at IGCAR, Kalpakkam

Supply and Installation of MS Brackets, Supports, Frame work, Clamps, Base Channels, etc. fabricated out of angle / Channel / Rods etc. The rate quoted shall include the cost of fabrication / welding, cleaning and painting/ galvanising as follows including supply of required hot dippped fasteners, hot dipped nuts, hot dipped washers, etc.(Refer Section VI, Clause No.11).

Supply, fabrication and installation of the following size of Hot dip Galvanised GI Flats in Built in trenches on walls, poles, RCC Concrete and through embedded pipes as per the detailed specification. No cutting or drilling permitted after galvanisation. (Refer Section VI, Clause No.12.9).

Rod Earthing

Supply installation and testing of Maintenance free earthing system (1x10feetx5/8inch copper bonded steel rod, 22 kg Ground Enhancing Material (GEM) ) as per IS: 3043 including RCC Chamber and RCC cover slab as per Drawing No.IGC/ESD/5060/1008/1 enclosed. (Refer Section VI, Clause No.12.12).

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints without disturbing structure and cleaning the surface for plaster at all levels including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead all as per specifications (Refer Section V - Part B, Clause No.D). and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

M30 grade with 370 kg. of cement per cu.m. of concrete

Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 'SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make' and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification (Refer Section V - Part B, Clause No.C) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.

Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted. (Refer Section V - Part B, Clause No.B)

Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding . (Refer Section V - Part B, Clause No.E)
