Construction of muffs around iron pipes of shed with protective paint in modern animal shed at ICAR - CIRB, Hisar

Demolishing cement concrete manually/by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (including equivalent design mix)

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) for constructing muffs according to Engineer-in-charge. Muff size: H:2.5 ft, D: 1 ft and H: 1.25 ft, D: 0.75 ft including underground depth.

P/A priming coat with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanized iron/steel works.

P/A painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade (Two or more coats on new work)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for muffs.
