Supply, install, testing and commissioning of step down outdoor type copper wound, Oil immersed transformer of capacity 160 KVA (Level-3) complete (Plateform mounted) with standard fitting, HT 11KV, 3 Phase, LT 433 volts, 3 phase 4 wire (Dyn11) with off load tap changer 5 steps with range +7.5 to -7.5% in steps of 2.5% on HT side to vary secondary voltage all as per IS 1180 Level-3, complete all as specified and as directed. (1) Technical Details : (a) No load Voltage Ratio (Normal Tap) - 11000/433 V (b) Number of phases : Three (c) Frequency : 50 Hz (d) Type of Cooling : ONAN (e) Winding connections : The primary winding (HV) shall be connected in delta and secondary winding (LV) shall be connected in star. (f) Vector Group : Windings shall be connected as per Vector symbol : Dyn11 (g) Neutral Earthing : The neutral point of Secondary (LV) winding shall be brought out to a separate insulated terminal and shall be solidly earthed. (h) Off Load Tap Changer of the transformer: Voltage tapping range on H.V side will be (+7.5%) to (-7.5%) in steps of 2.5%. The tap changing switch shall be located in a convenient position so that it can be operated from ground level. The switch handle shall be provided with a locking arrangement along with tap position, enabling the switch to be locked in position. The tap position marking should increase in clockwise direction and there should be a back stopper in between tap position 1(+7.5%) & 7(-7.5%). (j) The percentage impedance at 75°C & 50 Hz refer to the (normal) principal Tapping shall be less than 4.5%. (k) Losses : Minimum losses as per IS 1180. (l) Buchholz relay
(2) Structural Details : The transformer shall be comprising of the following items :- (a) Externally hand operated off-circuit Tap Changer switch with position indicator and locking device. (b) Conservator with Oil gauge, filling Hole with plug and drain hole with plug. (c) Undercarriage with four plain rollers. (d) Oil filling hole cum air release plug. (e) Drain Valve cum sampling valve. (f) Filter valve with Plug. (g) Lifting Lugs for Transformers. (h) Lifting lugs for Lid. (j) Earthing Terminals. (k) Thermometer Pocket (l) Silicagel Breather (m) Inspection Cover. (n) Explosion Vent. (o) 6 inches Dial type Thermometer with alarm, trip contacts and maximum temperature indicator with Metal Guard. (p) Rating Plate and Diagram Plate. Note: (i) Any standard accessories not mentioned above but forming part of standard model by manufacturer deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Loading/Unloading of transformers including connections and testing, commissioning at site deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) The contractor should get the make and GA drg approved from GE before placing order. (iv) Factory inspection shall be carried out by rep of AO before dispatch from factory.

Note for Item No 1.00 to 5.00) (1) All connections on LT side Box to be done with Brass Glands. (2) HT Boots to be provided on HT Studds to avoid any bare contact. (3) Necessary arrangement for factory inspection and testing at site to be born by the contractor. (4) Pre commissioning test after installation at site to be concluded by SEI and necessary testing arrangements to be done by the contractor.
Material and labour for earthing complete with Copper Plate Electrode 600 X 600 X 3 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to Copper Strip of size 20x3 mm by means of bolts, check nuts and washers, galvanised steel and protected by GI pipe 40 mm bore light grade & connected to earthing test point as directed and including concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6, type C1, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 30 cm X 30 cm X 5 cm with 10mm dia TMT bars 8 cm C/c both ways and one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia TMT bar, funnel, wire mesh, 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers, necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including necessary testing complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR part -I complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6 mm Copper strip including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling of old transfomer by disconnecting HT and LT side cables and earthings from Body and neutral and shifting from site to MES stores all as specified and directed.
