Supply, transportation and fixing of MS ladder with suitable clamping arrangement & 7 associated masonary and smithy work in Relay room, equipment room, Battery room, Goomties and cabins etc. The MS ladder should be made of 1" X 1" (1/8"/3 mm thickness) and MS flat size o f 1" wide X 1/8" / 3 mm thickness. MS flat shall be provided at every 8"apart. Width of ladder shall be 8". Tenderer shall supply all materials for this work. Inspection By representative of Railway before use. [RM=Running Meter]
"Wiring and testing of complete Relay Rack / CT Rack / Composite Relay Rack as per wiring diagram for maximum number of plug in type relay & shelf type relays of different sizes or as directed by Railway Engineers at site. This includes rack to rack wiring through MS ladder fixed on the top of the relay rack, crimping eyelets in the terminals fitted in the cables termination rack, 8 numbering by ferrules 2.5 sq. mm, bunching of wires by bunching Tape/Thread and buttons, painting and lettering as required. Wiring of the racks shall be done with PVC wire of size 16/0.2 mm and 3/0.75 mm. Tenderer shall supply all wires & wiring materials purchased from RDSO approved sources. Note: 1) Only relay and relay bases will be supplied by the Railway. Contractor has to supply all other materials for the above work and make arrangement for transportation of materials supplied by Railway at his own cost. 2) Only brass screws shall be used for fixing of relay bases. 3) All types of wires and wiring materials, eyelets of sizes (make: Dowell's or similar), ferrules (2.5 sq.mm), resin core solder, insulating tape, bunching belt & buttons etc. are to be supplied by the contractor. Wires will be procured from RDSO approved sources only. and all other components will be supplied by the contractor as per requirement at site. "
Alteration of wiring in existing Relay rack/ CT rack/composite relay rack. This includes 9 supply of all types of wires, eyelets, nuts & bolts, bunching material, ferrules, ARA terminals, fuses & fuse blockes by the contractor at his own cost. Lettering & painting to be done by the contractor at his own cost. Wire (RDSO Approved Sources) to be inspected by the representative of Railway before use.
Installation, Transportation, testing, Commissioning & Networking of RTU-Data logger 64/128 digital inputs & 16 Analog inputs as per RDSO Spec No-IRS-S-99/2006 or latest amendment if any. This includes wiring of potential free contacts from existing relays, contact of analog devices 10 (Chargers, Battery, Power supply etc) and its usage in datalogger and its necessary wiring required for the work. The wiring materials will be used as supplied in Schedule-B including 40/60 core cable. Any other wiring material if required shall be supplied by contractor. Wiring of all external relays to Data Logger as per RDSO guide lines. The work is to be executed as per directives of Railway Representative.
"Wiring, testing and commissioning of overall circuits and ground gears of approved interlocking arrangement as per approved circuit diagram and Interlocking plan. This also includes making corrections/alterations in As Planned drawings and documents as per the execution at site. This includes Free home signal connection at site and SM's office, telephone connection in the 11 tents/goomties and any other communication arrangement for the Non interlocking at the station or as decided by the representative of Railway during non interlocking. The materials required for preparation of Free Home indication board will be supplied by the tenderer.This also includes painting and lettering of gears. Supply and installation of 4-wire leasedline external modem (02 Nos for each Datalogger/Block section to be interfaced with each RTU.
Transportation and jointing (straight through and derivation) of PIJF/quad cables size TSF-IV as per Specn No. IRS: TC-31/96 & IRS 30/97. Jointing kits shall be supplied by the Railway. All other materials shall be supplied by the tenderer.
Transportation of HDPE pipe from the store to work site, laying of the same (With 4 21 mm nylon rope, pre inserted inside the HDPE pipe) in excavated trench/ already laid GI/ RCC pipe / tubes, jointing, leveling and end sealing the pipes, HDPE pipe, couplers and end caps shall be supplied by Railway, Nylon rope shall be supplied by the contractor.
Transportation of OFC from the store of to work site with care, and pushing/ pulling OFC through the HDPE pipes sealing of the duct by simple plugs. The cable is to be laid by 22 mechanised means. At inaccessible places where mechanised laying is not possible, the cable is to be laid manually by pulling through pre inserted rope. Empty cable drums with or without leftover cable should be returned to the store. This also includes testing of cable drums by OTDR in the store premises before transportation and submission of results thereof.
Supply, transportation, installation OFC termination box suitable for 19" rack mount as per RDSO specification no. IRS:TC:81-2000 part B with latest amendment, Splicing & deriving of 23 optical fiber cable inside the fiber termination box. All materials shall be arranged by contractor except optical patch cords which will be supplied by Railway. The OFC termination box shall be fitted on the wall using laminated board of 25 mm thickness suitable to accommodate 3 nos. of OFC termination box. Laminated board shall be fitted on the wall using clamps.
Supply ,transportation & installation of Optical Fibre cable joint enclosure and splicing of OFC (24 Fibre) and testing. OFC spicing shall be done in presence of Railway Representative.
Fixing of cable route marker as per drawing in Annexure-A at a distance of 100 mtrs. Along the trench and at places where the cable route has taken diversion as per instruction of site 25 Engineer, this includes casting of foundation at site and fixing of the marker in the foundation made earlier at site as per railway directives and specifications, this includes proper curing of the structure, All materials required for this like cement, sand 15 mm chips and steel rod of ISI marks should be supplied by the tenderer.

DWC/RCC/GI pipes shall be supplied by the Railway. DWC pipes wherever required shall be supplied in 6 Mtr. length and shall be cut to size as per requirement. All other materials including cement are to be supplied by the contractor.
Excavation of trenches including clearing of roots of trees etc., in rocky area up to a depth to be indicated by Railway Engineer at site as per the site condition [Minimum 0.6 meter] and 3 width 0.3 Mts. at the bottom. This includes concreting & plastering as per the instructions of site Engineer and complete back filling by digging earth from a lead of 30 Mtr. In case 0.8 meter depth or higher is achieved no concreting is required, otherwise concreting up to 100 mm thickness should be done. All materials required for the above works shall be supplied by the Contractor.
Cutting of masonary floor/walls at station building/ signal goomty/ Gate lodge at a depth of 0.5 mtr. to 1.0 mtr at places to be indicated by site Engineer for entering of cables inside 4 the building. Only G.I pipes supplied by Railway and all materials as clamps, bolts & nuts as instructed by site Engineer supplied by tenderer. This includes repairing of masonary floors/walls after the cables are taken inside. Cement, Sand required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer and also transportation of G.I Pipe from Store by the tenderer.
"Trenching and fixing of G.I. pipes of different sizes/DWC pipes in hard rocky area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M or at places as per instruction of site Engineer and concreting [1 : 3 : 6] up to height of 100 mm above the pipes. G.I. pipes with the socket/ DWC pipes shall be supplied by the Railway. All other materials required for the works shall be supplied by the contractor. Note: [1] 5 In case of girder bridges, G.I. pipes shall be suitably clamped by the contractor as advised by the site Engineer. Clamps shall be supplied by the contractor. [2] The work including excavation of trenches in hard rock area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M and back filling, ramming after completion of work where ever required. [3] In case of concrete bridges clearing of ballast for laying of pipes and re arranging the Railway ballast after completion of work shall be done by the contractor. "
Laying of Signalling/4 Quad/ 6 Quad/ Power Cable/Telecom cables/ Jelly filled cables of all sizes in excavated trench, through GI/RCC/DWC pipes etc. wherever required. This includes transportation of cables from the stores to work site and transportation of empty cable drums with 6 left over cables from site to the stores at . The length of cable laid includes the length of cable coil for termination purpose. NOTE: The cables are to be carefully handled during loading, un-loading and transportation to work site. Any damage found in the cable after final testing, in view of mishandling of cables, shall be made good by the Tenderer. Cable should be maggered before and after laying and recorded in a register and submitted to the site Engineer.

"Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (full size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No. S&T/CON/SK/16. This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only from Railway stores at. Tenderer will supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm 8 thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4"" thick, Cement and transport all the materials to site of work at his own cost. The wiring materials such as wire coils, PBT terminals, fuses, fuse block, etc. should be used from RDSO approved sources. 1) Modifiaction of inside arrangement of Apparatus cases if required for fixing of relays/transformers etc. shall be done by the contractor. Extra shelf, if any, shall be deposited to the Railway stores by the contractor. 2) All cables shall be terminated by providing copper eyelet of suitable size. Note:-(i) If location box foundation is available at site 20% of the cost is to be deducted.(ii) 40% payment shall be released after erection of location boxes."
"Horizontal direction drilling/boring without damage of surface of road/track 9 formation. The bore shall be 150 mm dia. and shall be at the proper depth as per site conditions decided by Enginer-incharge. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bankheight of the bank of the road. The length of the bore shall be minimum 04 Mtrs long. This include insertion of different dia. DWC/GI/HDPE pipes coupling, cable laying etc as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: The cost of pipe is not included in this item. Contractor shall provide all material required for boring and adequate nos. of labourers for proper laying of cables in to the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due to rough handling and pressure on cable."

G.I. pipe of make 21 TATA/JINDAL shall be as per IS: 1239 part-I/2004 Specification for medium gauge and shall be perforated by drilling 7 mm dia holes length wise in zig-zag manner staggered at a distance of 300 mm. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.
Supply of Thermo shrink jointing kit for underground cable as per Specn No. IRS: TC- 77/2012 [Rev.3] Amd 3. (Cable jointing kit shall be procured from RDSO approved sources only). Inspection by the Representative of Railway.
