NOTES for item No 1.00: (a) Contractor has to employ following staff for Manning and Operation of water supply installation at each shift of 08 hours: (i) One No skilled electrician/Fitter general mechanic operator per shift of 08 hrs (Total 02 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from govt recognized institution with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply installation all as specified and as directed. (ii) One No skilled valve operator per shift of 08 hrs (Total 02 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from govt recognized institution with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply pipes & valves. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply pipe line & valves. (b) Chemicals for chlorination/dozing and engine oil will be measured & paid saperately under respective items here in below however cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against item No 1.00 (c) Each shift duration shall be of 08 hours and duty timing shall be decided by Engr-in-Charge. (d) Power supply for operating the installation and diesel for runnig the DG set shall be made available by dept free of cost. (e) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for daily minor maintenance like checking and rectification of any water leakage, loose connection, cleaning and general up keep of pump room/GLR/HTR and area around it. (f) The operator shall ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

(g) The routine preventive maintenance /checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as stipulated in the operation & maintenance manual. (h) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegetation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6 m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (j) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the Contract period of 11 months. (k) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates. (l) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 2000/- per uniform will be recovered. (m) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied. (n) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge. (o) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall produce to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (p) Cost of routine maintenance spares will be measured and paid separately under respective items here in after. However, cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above.

(q) The contractor shall pay the wages to the electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators (as applicable) through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators and their wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (r) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding.

Supply only alum lump grade 1st quality all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Calcium based granular disinfectant having chlorine concentration 65%-70% all as specified and as directed. NOTE for item Nos 3.00 and 4.00: The chemicals shall be supplied periodically as per requirement and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cleaning RCC underground sumps/ground level reservoirs/ hill top reservoirs of following capacities including mouths of connected pipes etc by dewatering the sumps by using a portable pumpset of suitable capacity, removing all sludge/mud/dirt etc manually, pouring fresh water in sump through another pumpset, rinsing and dewatering the sumps including removing sludge/dirt particle manually, wash the sump using fresh water mixed with sodium hypochlorite & drain out water by a pumpset and finally applying one coat of antibacterial sodium hypochlorite solution to inner surface & including cost of writing letters as "Tank cleaned on (____ Date)" using synthetic enamel paint out side the wall of RCC water tanks in prescribed format complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for opening the LT Panel board cubical type for pump sets located in pump house, cleaning the bus duct chamber, inspect the complete panel, tighten all nuts, bolts of incoming, outgoing ACBs/MCCBs/ SFU of different capacity and heating up for removal of moisture, record its IR value with the help of 1.1 KV megger and applying thick coating of Z931 strippex B and Z955 Strippex (SL) of stanac product for preventing from flush over and fire hazard, including replacement of 3 mm thick gasket, closing of all holes complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Mild Steel nuts & bolts, washer flange etc all as specified and directed.

Supply only grease for pump bearings all as specified and directed. MAKE : Indian oil corporation Servogem-3 or equivalent in Bharat Petroleum or Hindustan Petroleum

M & L for preparation of existing painted surfaces of pressure sand filters, air compressors, motor, pump, water pipe lines etc at clarified drinking water pump house including filling of cavities etc and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using spray gun/machine as per colour code including writing SM & MES No on pump & motor, indication marking etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of existing painted surfaces of motor, pump, water pipe lines etc at ground level drinking water pump house and filling of cavities etc and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using spray gun/machine as per colour code including writing SM & MES No on pump & motor, indication marking etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs bearing No : 6309 ZZ all as specified and directed. MAKE : SKF/TATA/NBC/FAG

Supply and fix in repairs bearing No : 6314 ZZ all as specified and directed. MAKE : SKF/TATA/NBC/FAG

Supply and fix in repairs Gland packing for pump all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs contactor 38 Amps, 3 Pole suitable for switching electrical power circuit as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: L&T/Schneider or equivalent as approved by GE.

S & F in repairs cast iron sluice valve of size 200 mm flanged PN-1.6 ISI conforming to IS :14846 hand wheel operated, stainless steel stem with gun metal parts flanged driller to IS: 1538 non rising stem PN-1.6 all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per item No 14.00 here-in-before but size 150 mm dia.

Dismanting and taking out carefully defective spindle from sluice valve of size 150 mm dia and removing the old gate stud by grinding and making it to a shape by brass welding and turning & polishing, greasing, servicing as per original gate stud and refixing the same at position and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per item No 16.00 here-in-before but size 200 mm dia.

Dismantling electric motor from the centrifugal pumpset/compressor of any make, 3 phase 415 V of following capacities, opening the motor for rewinding using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including varnishing & drying and re-assembling the motor, connecting with pumpset with proper alignment and testing complete through authorised service engineer all as specified and directed of following capacity :-

M & L for overhauling of centrifugal pump sets/ vertical turbine pumps 3 phase 415 Volts of following capacities by opening up the pumpset, cleaning inside & out side thoroughly, including replacement of gland packing, rubber insertion, replacement of bearings - 2 Nos (DE/NDE) and testing complete all as specified and directed of following capacity :-

(a) 1.5 HP (Drain water lifting pump)

(b) 5 HP (Alum/Chlorine dozing pump)

(c) 15 HP (Main water lifting pump)

Supply only chemical resistant rubber pipe of size 15 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs MCB TPN, 50 to 63 Amps, ''C'' series 415 Volts, 3 phase, 10 KA breaking capacity of complete all as specified and directed. MAKE : Havells/Indo Asian/Legrand or equivalent.
