M & L for surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above starting point including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded course aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete in sub floor type D- 2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded stone aggregate) 75mm thick finished rough complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan not exceeding 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plaster surface of walls etc and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete coloured interlocking paver blocks any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boring for 500 mm Dia Bored cast in situ piles 8.85 metres in any type of strata and getting out and disposal of spoil to a distance of 50 metres using DMC method (Direct mud circulation) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 (nominal mix) type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

M&L for formwork to sides of concrete foundation , footings, base of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work in vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking bending ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips as reinforcement to pile, pile caps, beams and columns complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 17.00 above, but 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders

M&L for RCC M-30 (design mix) for bored cast in situ piles complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The concreting of piles shall be carried out as per provision given in para 3.30 & 4.26 of MES Schedule Part-I. (ii) The measurement shall be of finished pile and all wastage/breakage for piles as per specifications shall not be paid. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of this provision.

M&L for RCC M-30 (design mix) for foundation rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, basement slabs and pile caps complete all as specified and directed.

Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes, etc. For area filling/area development upto MGL level including raising of original ground level (any height from OGL) or lowering by approved earth and including earth spreading in layers not exec 30 cm thick each layer, watering, compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc Notes for : (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from outside MOD land of any lead at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES schedule Part-II on serial page No. 21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment /traverse of filled earth after consolidation/compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity/partial quantity of earth may not be available in guwahati area. The bidder/tenderer has to bring the earth from outside area and it is advised to quoted the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved.

M&L for Boulder pitching, grouted with cement and sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed

Conducting initial vertical pile load test as per IS:2911 and preparation and submission of report all as per following parameters complete all as specified and directed:- Design Load=22.6 Ton Test Load=2.5x22.6=56.5 Ton Kent ledge Load=56.50x1.25=70.62Ton Notes : The rate quoted shall only be for testing including all T&P and labour required. The pile to be tested shall be measured and paid under relevent items.

Conducting Routine vertical pile load test as per IS:2911 and preparation and submission of report as per following parameters complete all as specified and directed:- Design Load=22.6 Ton Test Load=1.5x22.6=33.9 Ton Kent ledge Load=33.90x1.25=42.37 Ton Note : The rate quoted shall only be for testing including all T&P and labour required. The pile to be tested shall be measured and paid under relevent items.

M&L for 20 mm dia Mild steel rag or lewis bolts, screwed one end, with hexagonal or square nuts and washers, the other end enlarged and jagged or lewised, exceeding 30cm long complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix structural mild steel joist channel, angle, tee section including cutting, drilling, fabrication etc to required length as in staging for water tank ( upto 20 m height) and connected works conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde-250) quality-A including welding or screwing with nuts, bolt and washers complete all as specified and directed

M&L for painting steel and iron Surfaces of any description, any width or girth, not otherwise described with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over priming with red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation all as specified

Supply and fix galvanished pressed steel plates of approximate size 1.25m x 1.25 m x5/6 mm thick for bottom and side of tank and minimum 3.2mm thick for top for over head galavanished pressed steel tank at the top of 20 m height staging with and including provision of nuts & bolts , jointing materials such as good quality rubber gasket, lead wool wire, black putty etc to make the joints leak proof including arc welding if necessary complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- All components of pressed steel tank including plates, nuts & bolts etc shall be galvanished as per relevant IS and the rates quoted shall be inclusive of same.

M&L for cutting in road/pavement etc for laying of pipes etc of any size upto an approximate width of 45cm and depth 60cm filling in with soil, watering & well ramming and making good top 20cm disturbed surfaces by filling with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 150 mm bore ductile iron pipe with spigot and socket ends class k-9 suitable for rubber gasket joints in any length with all fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing 100mm bore ductile iron pipe with spigot and socket ends class k-9 suitable for rubber gasket joints in any length with all fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 100 mm bore Sluice valve with flanged ends as per IS-14846 PN-1.6 , heavy duty including brass spindle and wheel with nut bolts and jointing material i.e. rubber gasket and taking down old one complete all as specified and directed . Make : Kirloskar/Leader/Zoloto/Audco/ UPADAYAY

Supply and fixing Aluminium strip 25 X 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc or roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx600mmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m deep below normal ground level, connected with GI earth strip of size 25x4mm as earth lead up to test point by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts protected by and including GI pipe 40mm bore (light grade) and connected to main test point as directed and including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab 30cm x 30cm x 10 cm, reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting, made out of 8mm dia TMT bar embedded in pre cast cover slab, funnel, wire mesh, 15mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) for watering, charcoal and salt in alternate layers, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as shown on Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Rate quoted by tenderers shall be deemed to include for following provisions:- [i]. Excavation & earth work in any type of soil including removing of surplus material upto 50 M.[ii]. Supply and fixing integral LED aviation light comprising of aluminium housing with polycarbonate enclosure suitable for tank mounting on top, Make : Bajaj Cat No. BGAV 302 LED or of equivalent Make as approved by GE from list of approved makes.
