REPAIR AND ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF DG SET OF VARIOUS LOCATIONS INSIDE AF STN NAL

Material & Labour for Annual comprehensive Maintenance for a period of 270 days and servicing of DG Set of capacity 400 KVA Make: - Cummins comprising Diesel Engine, AMF Panel & Control panel for carrying out the following jobs as given below: - (a) Draining out engine oil from the chamber cleaning the chamber thoroughly and refilling the oil pan with new engine oil to its required level. (b) Draining out of diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel. (c) Supply and replacement of fuel filter set (d) Supply and replacement of lubricating oil filter set (e) Supply and replacement by pass filter set (f) Checking & cleaning air cleaner (g) Check and topping up coolant level (h) Checking the starting batteries and filling with electrolyte/Distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of Battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors (j) Checking and cleaning exhaust system including removing of deposited carbon in exhaust pipe. (k) Adjustment /setting of V Belt and fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer (l) Checking, cleaning and servicing of self starter, Alternator, sensors etc.

(m) Testing of DG set at connected load all as directed by the Engr in charge. (n) Replacement of burnout Copper/aluminium thimbles existing size by crimping with crimping tool properly completely. (o) Weekly & Monthly maintenance be carried out as per OEM recommendation. Note (a) Engine oil, Fuel filter, oil filter, bypass filter, water filter, petroleum jelly, waste cloth, seal, gaskets etc are to be provided by the contractor and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (b) Coolant for topping up measured and paid separately (c) Engine oil /Spares/filters of make recommended by OEM will only be used for servicing of DG set.

Note for ser item No 1.00 to 11.00 : - (i) The contractor shall detail technician to attend breakdown of any type within 24 hours failing which penalty at the rate of Rs 1000/- per day shall be deducted from the dues during the contract period inclusive of all Sundays & holidays. (ii) Preventive maintenance as per schedule be carried out. However, if any other activity is required to be additionally done for proper maintenance of the system as per the OEM recommendation, carry out the same with prior approval of the accepting officer. The Preventive maintenance shall be carried out for complete DG set /AMF /Panel/ Fire fighting Diesel engine & its associated accessories installed at various locations. The preventive maintenance shall be carried out in such a manner that overall functioning of the system & functional equipment is barely affected. (iii) All other items required to replace will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule. (iv) In case the contractor wants to get the payment against these item during currency of contract payment shall be released only on completion of each calendar quarter on proportional basis. (v) If contractor fails to execute any of the works as mentioned above, no payment against the item shall be allowed. The contractor shall detail technician to attend breakdown of any type with in the period of contract. i.e 270 days inclusive of all Sundays & holidays. (vi) All other items required to replace will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule. (vii) Minor parts other than the items above but costing less than Rs 500/- per job also included in the rate quoted.

Material & Labour for repair and servicing of self starter assembly 24 V/ 12 V DC of make Lucas TVS / MICO for DG Set of capacity 20 KVA to 400 KVA by dismantling and taking out and replacement of worn out winding, bush, Make: - Ashok Leyland / Kirloskar / Mahindra/Cummins after aligning with driver, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for servicing existing radiator by cleaning thoroughly the radiator fins by air blower recharging the chemically treated coolant including replacement of all water hose pipe suitable for 20 KVA to 100 KVA DG sets complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for servicing existing radiator, by draining out, cleaning thoroughly the radiator fins by air blower recharging the chemically treated coolant including replacement of all water hose pipe suitable for 110 KVA to 400 KVA DG Sets complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only Fuel Flexible pipe size 15mm bore embedded in flexible metal wire having one side nut & one side banjo or both side nut or both side benjo nut as per existing suitable for DG Set of capacity 20 KVA to 100 KVA complete all as specified and directed. Repair to alternator of DG set 20 KVA to 100 KVA, servicing, greasing of alternator, cleaning the dust including replacement of defective rectifier of suitable capacity, testing complete of alternator for output voltage and load etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Repair to alternator of DG set 110 KVA to 400 KVA, servicing, alternator, cleaning the dust including replacement of defective rectifier of suitable capacity, testing complete of alternator for output voltage and load etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material & Labour for repairing, welding doors to main body/ AMF Panel board and making good for the canopy of DG set /panel board off capacity including painting with existing colour after surface preparation complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in- charge.

Material & Labour for programming and repairing of AMF panel of DG set of cap 20 KVA to 100 KVA capacity complete, including wiring, programming of Microprocessor AMF relay, replacement of minor parts are connectors, copper wire for wiring, timing relays, indicators etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: - Spares like AMF relay MCB; MCCB and power contactors are measured and paid separately.

Material & Labour for programming and repairing of AMF panel of DG set of cap 125 KVA to 400KVA capacity complete, including wiring, programming of Microprocessor AMF relay, replacement of minor parts are connectors, copper wire for wiring, timing relays, indicators etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: - Spares like AMF relay MCB, MCCB and power contactors are measured and paid separately.

Dismantling of defective Alternator from DG set of capacity 20 KVA to 400 KVA from DG set by opening coupling shaft and taking out carefully rotor and windings by disconnecting the internal connections. Removing carbon bushes , replacement of unserviceable bushes , nuts & bolts, cutting the burnt winding and re-winding the same with suitable size of super enameled copper wire as pr existing gauge, insulating the winding connection by using fire proof sleeve and fire proof tape, varnishing the coil, keeping the coils in Sun light/ oven for removing moisture , painting of Alternator body outside , marking MES/SM No etc, re-fixing the alternator with engine with proper alignment of coupling and shaft, and connecting electric connections internal and outside properly, making the all connections with suitable copper lugs , meggering the Alternator, testing the load of alternator complete all as specified and directed.

Note: - (i) Winding wire for making coils will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Contractor is required to submit test report for repaired alternator duly signed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii) Rates for transportation of Alternator from site to Workshop and return back from workshop to be included in quoted rates.

Supply only super enamelled copper conductor wire suitable gauge and size as per requirement for rewinding of Alternator of capacity 20 KVA to 400 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repair Automatic Mains failure Panel (AMF) AMF panel suitable upto for 200 KVA DG Set fabricated out of sheet steel 3.0 mm thick outdoor type factory made suitable for floor mounting hinged from panel for easy accessibility with suitable rated bus bar internal wiring and with provision for connecting incoming/outgoing leads with the following accessories :-

Note: - Quoted rate is inclusive for the following: - (i) any fittings/fixtures which are necessary for proper functioning of the DG set/AMF Panel shall also be deemed include in the unit rate quoted and shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt. (ii) Drawings/catalogue for AMF Panel of DG Set got approved by the Accepting Officer before ordering to the manufacturer. (iii) PCC for fixing arrangement.
