Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms/moulds. Mitred/Stop end etc. complete all as specified and directed at site.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 (Type C2) (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) to be laid in bed to drain pipe of size 150 mm dia bore including packing under and haunching against the side of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed at site.

Dewatering and cleaning: Dewatering and cleaning of Sewage Treatment Plant including removing mud, debris, waste material etc from site complete in all respect for STP No 1 and 2 of 300 KLD each at Military Farm

Earthings : Material and labour Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including GI strip 25 x 4 mm (upto the body of equipment earth lead up to 7.50 meter length from earth plate) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover & frame, PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and directed at site for STP No 1 and 2 of 300 KLD each at Military Farm. Notes:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earth lead upto 7.5 meter length from top of earth plate.

Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover & frame, PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I. Notes :- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earth lead upto 7.5 meter length from top of earth plate.

Painting : Preparing surfaces New or old of any description and girth by cleaning, removing, scrapping loose dirt or dust, lichen, algae, fungus, any organic growth or mould growth etc using stiff or wired brush with chemicals/paint remover etc as required at site, Sandpapering & finishing to obtain even surface and Applying one or more coats of approved paint over a coat of primer of following description to plastered/concrete/steel or iron/ PVC surfaces complete in all respect as specified and directed at site for walls, floors, roof, terraces, Railings, Pipes, steel or iron etc all surfaces of STP complete all as specified and directed at site for STP No 1 of 300 KLD at Military Farm :- (a) Coal Tar Epoxy Paint over one coat of zinc rich epoxy primer to water contact surfaces of MS Tanks. (b) Synthetic Enamel Paint over a Coat of Red Oxide Primer to steel and iron surfaces. (c) Sodium silicate paint using water proofing compound of approved quality as per manufacture’s recommendations for water contact surfaces of concrete/masonry works. (d) Bitumastic or Coal Tar based paint for underground surfaces. (e) Cement based paint of approved colour for exposed concrete/masonry surfaces.

Cleaning of holes: clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles. Fixing of Nozzles: Insert 12mm dia teflon nozzles in cleaned holes. external end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun. Fit it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing cure the system for min. 12 hrs, cutting of nozzles. Cut the nozzles by chisel after completion of grouting without damages structural elementscomplete all as specified and directed at site for STP No 1 of 300 KLD at Military Farm.

SCHEDULE 'A' Section - IV- Comprehensive Maintenance & Operations of STPs

Providing outsourcing of services for comprehensive maintenance and operations of sewage treatment plants of capacity 300 KLD installed at Military farm (For 335 days)with one FGM (operator) and one helper per shift for STP plant as mentioned below in three shifts (each shift of 8 hours) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for STP No 1 installed at Military Farm. Notes (i) One operator and one helper shall be employed by the contractor for operation of the plant in each shift as per time table and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Biometric attendance machine be put up in use for daily attendance in shift duty. (ii) Sludge drying beds shall be cleaned regularly. (iii) Dual media bed shall be cleaned regularly. (iv) Contractor shall attend any type of electrical fault in the panel with minor stores i.e. cable jumpers, insulating material, glands packing and grease etc without any extra cost. (v) Time of shift will be as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The operator is bound to performing the duty as per time of shift given by the Engineer-in-charge. No request of contractor will be entertained for change the time of shift . (vi) Daily log sheet as per specimen given by department shall be provided and maintained by the contractor without any extra charges. (vii) First aid box complete with medicines shall be kept at all the installations. (viii) Installation & surrounding area should be kept neat and clean including grass cutting by the contractor's employee and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ix) For shift duties required to be performed as per duty chart, but if not performed by the operating staff of the contractor for what so ever reason, a penal recovery as mentioned in PSS shall be recovered from the contractor's due. For that purpose proper duty register and attendance register shall be maintained and signed by Engineer-in-Charge every day. (x) The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to include to consumable items such as cotton waste and minor spares etc.z (xi) SOP shall be provided by the contractor and same shall be pasted at Installation.

All as per item 4.01 abobe but period beyond 335 days ie ( from 336 to 670 days) for STP No 1 installed at Military Farm.
