ADDITION/ ALTERATION AND SPECIAL REPAIRS OF ROADS IN MARRIED ACCOMMODATION AREA AT INS CHILKA

Amount

Excavation over areas n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material exc 500 m and n.exc. 1.0 km and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting pont complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm spread thickness soling/sub base with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stics filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick in two layers of 75 mm each (Compacted thickness) WBM, with course aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 Kg per ten sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and shield with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of pot holes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premixed bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with using 20mm graded stone aggregate and paving bitumen @ 4% by the weight of total mix (consolidated thickness 75mm thick or less or as required) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top road surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen VG -30 at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen VG -30 at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying 40 mm consolidated thickness bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content with paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using hot mix plant and paver equipment complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced concrete pipes class NP-3, laid and jointed complete with collar of 300 mm dia including PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in bed to drain pipe including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested including dismantling of old pipes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for old size brick work with fly ash bricks built in cement mortar 1:6 , straight or curved on plain exc 6m mean radius complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry or brickwork surfaces, surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered external wall surfaces of any description over 10 cm width/girth and including applying two coats of weather proof acrylic emulsion paint ,exterior grade (100% acrylic) of approved shade over one coat of alkali resistant primer as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F raised pavement markers/ road stud of size 100x90x17mm made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and fixing with twin polymer epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturers specification/instructions complete all as specified and directed.
