8124/2023-24 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF SEWAGE LINE, SEPTIC TANK, SOAKAGE WELL AND CONNECTED WORKS AND REPAIR TO FENCING, COMPOUND WALL GATE AND FOOTPATH ETC AT KARU ZONE II UNDER GE 860 EWS

Amount

Dewatering the contaminated/waste water from soakage well of dia exc.1.80m & 3m deep pumping through mechanical means and dispose off therein open drain or low laying area incl cutting holes through slab/wall as required for inserting pipe and making good the same to match with existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note: Honey sucker machine , operator and driver to be provided by the contractor. Capacity of honey sucker machine to be min 5000 Litre. This aspect shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

M&L for cleaning septic tank of 25 users capacity and depth including inlet and outlet chambers, removing out all scum, silt residues both organic type after plugging the incoming sewage line, removing and depositing the waste material of sludge etc to a distance upto 100m and buried the same in ground by digging pit of suitable size and then cover with earth including removal or surplus soil if any complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. (Note: Honey sucker machine, operator and Driver to be provided by the Contractor. Capacity of Honey sucker machine to be of min 5000 Ltr )

Cleaning of manhole of depth up to 1.5m and removing sludge and depositing the waste material/sludge etc out side cantt area and buried the same in the ground by digging of suitable size and then cover the earth including removal of surplus soil if any and placing the manhole cover in the same position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for Cleaning of SGSW line/CI/PVC line up to 150mm internal dia by rodding from manhole for cleaning and well flushing after cleaning by taking off manhole cover and placing the same in position after cleaning and removing the waste material/sludge etc out of the garrison area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cleaning of SGSW line/CI/PVC line up to 110/ 100mm internal dia by rodding from manhole for cleaning and well flushing after cleaning by taking off manhole cover and placing the same in position after cleaning and removing the waste material/sludge etc out of the garrison area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cleaning of blocked/filled W.C (any type)/nahni/gully trap by heating pipe line with blow lamp/roding the CI/SWG pipe of any dia upto first manhole/gully trap after taking off the cover and placing the same in position after cleaning and removing the waste material/sludge etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Vitreous China squatting pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580 x 440 mm white with integral foot rest and including connection to trap, and to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe, etc complete including making good to floor including 100 mm PVC 'P' trap all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Vitreous China washdown (EWC) water closet pan (Pedestal pattern), white (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) but including seat cover for pedetsal pattern EWC complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs PVC (Plastic polymer Cistern) valve less, Symphonic action type, flushing cistern of capacity 10 liters, low level, white with inlet, ball valve, manually operated with one PVC ball valve horizontal plunger type including provision of 32mm PVC flush pipe of required length and making connections complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for coloured non-skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm(square/rectangular) rea of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc over and including 15 mm thick cement mortar screed bed or bedding layer in Cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for colour glazed ceramic tiles in vertical surface 450 x 350 x 7 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match over and including 10mm thick backing coat of Cement mortar 1:4 all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Reinforced cement concrete (nominal mix) type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Providing precast reinforced cement concrete (nominal mix) type B-1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc) mangers, shelves and similar articles set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Mild steel TMT bars 6-8 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed

M & L for use and waste of formwork to flat soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floors slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for use and waste of formwork to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roof n.exc 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10 cm but n.exc 20 cm wide rough finished all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

40 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in floors including finishing the surfaces even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on wall, ceiling, roof etc incl raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete in cement mortar 1:4 and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: Water proofing compund shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid Water proofing compound all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells cess pits, manholes etc n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in incl spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm as in soft/ loose soil all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n exc 50 m and depositing where at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point in soils all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed stone ware, AC or reinforced concrete ) set in cement mortar internal dia of pipe 150 mm all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:6 all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains and making good to pipe and rendering cutting out existing bending for and forming branch channel in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required for pipe 150 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling post or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section incl taking out embedded portion in concrete, brick work, masonry etc and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in hard/dense soil each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, compete all as specified & directed

M&L Plain cement concrete type C-2 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) in foundations, post hole, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of mild steel work in angle iron or other stock section or core for wooden hand - rail straight portioon, drilled and countersunk for balusters, nosing of steps, including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for foof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe – 290 Gde E -165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth , priming with a coat of red oxide primer and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 4mm dia galvanised steel wire, 100x100mm mesh, made up into mattresses or cages, lapped, wired and laid in position including closing after filling complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm and n.exc 10cm long with dia of the neck 5 to 10mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

MS round bars Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality A or Fe 290 (Gde-E-165) 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering doors etc to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete type B2, 1:2:4 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in sub base to floor, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar in CM 1:6 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement and pigments complete all as specified and directed.

Painting lines, dashes, arrows etc. on curve stones, roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white , black or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed.
