Material and for labour Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing treatment of any description and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land, complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates of average thickness of 50 mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement land including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions.

(d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.

(e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets shall be properly treated. For filling cracks upto 3mm crack sealing material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damaged portions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.

(f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).

(g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

(h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same surface. The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.

(j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.

Note for item No 01 to 10:- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical

(ii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on satisfactory completion of work.

(iii) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, water tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(iv) The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(v) The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

(vi) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removal of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces wall/ ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja,ceiling, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weather proof paint, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Cost of scaffolding required is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

S&F in repairs 40mm bore unplasticised PVC pipe of pressure rating 10 kgf/Sqcm fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair PVC waste pipe 32 to 40 mm dia and length n exc 2m for WHB/Sink/Urinal up to floor trap and fixed, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel tubing 20mm bore and connections including cleaning and refixing of old GI tubing 20mm bore including connections in new or old position (wall, ceiling & floor)complete all as specified and as directed. M&L Repair to ends of chajjas/ parapets by removing old concrete, loose material & cleaning of the reinforcement and finishing the surface with rich cement mortar 1:3 , finished fair & even and making good (not exc 3Sqm) with existing finishes, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat oil bound distemper, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old concrete/Asbestos/Cement/GI Sheet/Plaster surfaces over brooming down or steel wire brushing down and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and as directed.

Apply a primer coat of roof guard prime M Seal (water base primer) and allow to dry for 6 hours. Thereafter apply 02 coats of weather coat ( high build anti carbonating coating cum waterproofing) & shade by brush at the interval of 08 hours between the coat and allow to dry to match the existing shade including necessary scaffolding for any height, covering complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damaged portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 83 & 84 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specification. M&L Granite slab 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps,Jamps, Pillars, Windows, cills, platforms, walls and like in CM (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigments to match with marble shade of Granite over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) The Unit rate quoted is included for demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by using pressure washer, remove all dirt & dust ,applying one coat of wall care putty and then applying two coats of premium oil bound distemper over one coat of primer as per manufauture instruction of required shade, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Supply and fixing in repairs 7 feet 4 pipes pulley operated cloths drying system consisting of aluminium pipe of outer dia 22mm, inner dia 19.80mm, made up of detrin with rope guide mounted on channel pair of length 24 feet (distance between two pipes is adjustable) locking system to hide rope knot, channel to be mounted or fixed with self taping screws provided in kit. Taking down MS window shutters n. exc 2 sqm each through cutting of existing any type of hinges, handle and tower bolt and fixing new box type hinges, MS handle and MS tower bolt the same window by welding. The quoted rates shall be included the following aspect:- (a) Cutting of existing piano hinges, handle and tower bolt from window frame and shutter. (b) Fixing of removed shutter in the same frame on MS box type hinges 100mm, MS handle 100mm and MS tower bolt 100mm by welding. (c) Easing and adjusting the shutter before re-fixing if required. (d) Finishing the window frame and shutter with two coat of synthetic enamel paint. (e) Necessary scaffolding material to be included as the building height is more than 10mtr. Taking down and re-fixing the same existing Aluminium door/window/partitions (each shutter area n. exc 5sqm) after carrying out certain repairs as required, removing the existing beading and fixing new (i.e. including change Handles, hinges, star lock, rubber beadings, bottom bearing, clips etc) rubber beading of suitable size with adhesive, overhauling of floor springs including repairing/cleaning/greasing etc and make the same fully functional, all as specified and directed.

Petty repair to wooden door,skelton door, PVC door, wooden window, wooden ventilator, cupboard door, wardrobe door with shutter (size upto 2 Sqm) including roller, windows, etc with minor repair and easing and adjustment/alignment to openable with assessories if requred any ( like roller of cupboard door, butt hinge, handle, tower bolt, beading, bow handle, etc complete) including taking down and refixing, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- An amount of Rs 39325.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
