REPAIRS AND MAINT OF STREET LIGHTS AND CONNECTED ITEMS OF WORKS AT NAMKUM AND KHOJATOLI UNDER GE RANCHI

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr in width and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cables up to proper level complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in of any type of soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing surplus exacavated material from excavation not exc 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983 and as directed. Note :- Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS and refiiling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is than gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness only will be considered for paymet.

Supply and laying of bricks of size 230 x110x 75mm covering with width equal to length of bricks as mechanical protection cable with sub class ‘B’ laid dry flat in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting of bituminious road/ hard standing/PCC path/wall up to a size not exceeding 20cm width and not exceeding 60cm in depth for laying of protection pipe for cable including making good the disturbed road/hard standing by providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate upto existing surface level or removing any type of tiles carefully and refixing properly as per existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs GI tubing light grade of size 40 mm dia fixed on wall / laid in trenches as protection pipe for under ground cable including necessary clamp, nuts, bolts, washers and taking down the old GI tubing etc complete all as speified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair the XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of size 16 sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and directed including taking down old unserviceable cable. NOTE: (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per Sl Item No. 08 above but of size10 Sqmm 2 core complete all as specified and directed

M &L repair and making functional of LED street/security light fittings of any capacity or any type on pole/wall without dismantling/taking down and carrying out necessary repair/replacement of minor spares and wire etc complete all as specified and directed. Note- 1.0 Requirement of Tools and Ladder for repair to the street light including in rates and complaints shall be attended & rectified same day recieving of complaints if not atteneded penalty to be create @ Rs 100.00 per complaints and deducted from payments.

M &L Dismantling and taking down unserviceable LED street/security light fittings of any capacity or any type from pole/wall of any wattage or size street light fittings for repair or replacement of burnt/worn out accessories or carrying to MES store (Accessories or components to be Paid separately under Item Sel No 12 to 17) down and carrying out necessary repair/replacement of spares etc complete all as specified and directed. Note - (i) Requirement of Tools and Ladder for dismantling and repair to the street light shall be including in qouted rates (ii) Complaints shall be attended & rectified within next two day recieving of complaints and fitting to be kept in safe costudy at namkum power House and repair and replacement of spares as per required existing sizes and to be paid in respectrive items here in after.(iii) After repair the street lights shall be fixed to pole and testing complete all as specified and directed

The color temparature is arround 6500K with a color rendering index of 70. The luminaire if IP:66 protected with impact rasistence IK05 impact resistance, electronic driver complaint to IEC safety standards with power factor is greater than 0.9, voltage variation range 120-270V, THD less than 20%, high and LED with individual peanut lens and lena plate for better optics. The product should be tested for IEC60598 safety standards, LM80 report for LED, entire product including taking down the old u/s one complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repairs street light fitting bracket made out of 40 mm bore GI pipe, light grade, tubing bend to shape, 1.2 metre long, fixed to pole/wall with and including two sets of clamps made out of flat iron of size 40 x 6 mm with bolts, nuts and washers, complete, all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs clamps made out of flat iron 40x6 mm bending to shape, drilling holes for bolts suitable for fixing GI pipe bracket to steel pole, made in two halves, including nuts, bolts, washers and painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete, all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs High Mast pole motor of Capacity 1.5 HP/1.1 KW 415 Volts 50 Hz 3 Phase 930 RPM by removing from High mast casing/panel and transporting to service work shop contractor workshop re-winding/gear box repairing/replacement of bearings and necessary re-wiring as per existing all as specified and as directed.Note - (i) Taking down to High mast check to the rope tension , Gear box function , Lights carrier , wiring of lights cleaning of gear box by sludge removing and reffiling the oil (ii) Tools and Plant used for repair to be includes in items rates.

Material and labour for Painting of steel tubular pole 9.0 metre long, by applying one coat of aluminium paint after scraping / brushing and cleaning the rust on pole and street light bracket. Aluminium painting will be done on pole above 1.5 metre height from ground level and balance 1.5 mtr from ground level will be painted by alternate layer of black and white enameled paint (30 Cms Each). Pole Nos shall be written on pole with black paint in yellow circle of 150mm dia, complete.

Material and labour for cement Painting of PCC pole 9.0 metre long, by applying one coat of cement colour after scraping / brushing and cleaning the rust on pole and street light bracket to painted with one coat of Aluminium paint. Cement colour will be done on pole above 1.5 metre height from ground level and balance 1.5 mtr from ground level will be painted by alternate layer of black and white enameled paint (30 Cms Each) Pole Nos shall be written on pole with black paint in yellow circle of 150mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable junction boxes factory made, made out of polycarbonate with hinges and door with locking arrangements of size 155 x210 x 92 mm housing in and including three phase cable connector terminal of suitable size and one No of MCB SP 6 Amps, 240 Volts, in/out cable gland of suitable size of cables complete fixed on street light pole with clamp/bracket, nuts, bolts and washers etc including taking down old brocken terminal juction box complete all as specifed and directed Make- Hensel/Schniender/ hager or equivalent to other make specification.

Supply and fix MS sheet metal enclosure street light timer switch distribution board double door type , including provision of opening for cable entry duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide and suitable fixing MS clamps 40x5mm thick bend to shape drilled with holes suitable for fixing to PCC / Steel tubular pole all as directed and specified and consisting of the following including taking down old enclosure.:- (a) Aluminium bus bar chambers 4 strip 300 mm long 100 Amps (b) MCB SPN 40A 10KA "C" 03 Nos (c) Digital Time switch 3P Module,weekly programm with battery back up 100 hrs Current of capacity 16 Amps with change over - 01 Nos Make - L&T/Indo asian/ ABB or equaivalent to other approved make.

Cutting / trimming of tree branches of any size resting/interrupting the Street light pole cutting clearing 3 M away all around the pole repeatedly as many as times required depending on the growth of new branches and removing the tree branches from site all as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs street light digital Time switch 3P Module ,weekly programm with Back up of 6 years Current capacity 16 Amps with change over complete all as specified and as directed.Make- L&T/Indo Asian/ABB or equivalent approved make. .

Supply and fix in repairs Power Contactors Three pole with 230 volts AC 40 Amps suitable for street light timer switch complete all as specified and as directed.Make - L&T/Indo asian/ ABB or equvalaint approved make.
