REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF DUCTS ALONGWITH ISULATION AT INHS ASVINI UNDER AGE(I) ASVINI

Supply, fabrication, and erection of factory-fabricated rectangular or square duct made out of 24-gauge (0.63 mm thick) G.I. sheet conforming to IS: 277 with zinc coating not less than 120 gsm, formed to the required shape and size in L-shaped hollow profile. The work shall include all accessories such as corner pieces, flanges, gaskets, approved duct sealant, G.I. nuts, bolts, carriage bolts, hangers, supports, and all materials required for proper installation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer_in_charge.

Taking down carefully the existing rectangular or square G.I. ducting of any gauge or size including all connected fittings, accessories, thermal insulation, wire mesh/net, supports, hangers, and sealing material. The work shall include cutting, dismantling, unscrewing, or unbolting joints, lowering the ducts safely from the ceiling or wall, and stacking serviceable material complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F nitrile rubber insulation (closed-cell type) of 19 mm thickness in one layer, fixed on duct/piping surface using approved adhesive compound, sealing all joints with weather-proof self-adhesive tape, complete including surface cleaning, adhesive, tape, labour, and scaffolding, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs wire netting of G.I. wire 24 gauge with 12 mm mesh size fixed with tinned tacks/staples over entire duct insulation with 50 mm overlap for preventing rat bites, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix in repairs of MS - CRC 18 gauge, powder coated square perforated suction/fresh air supply diffuser grills of outer size 450 × 450 mm and collar 280 mm fixed to duct for proper supply to the room and suction of air from the same complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs of MS-CRC 18 gauge, powder coated square perforated suction/fresh air supply diffuser grills of outer size 370×370 mm with collar 180–220 mm fixed to duct for supply and return air, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs of fire damper actuator 10 Nm, 24/230 V AC, spring return type with auxiliary switch, complete as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair to existing control panel from input 230V to output 24V including temperature sensor, wiring,including testing of fire damper system, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning of air ducts (G.I./Aluminium) by removing dust, dirt, and microbial deposits using mechanical cleaning equipment, including air compressor, air jet nozzles, flippers, vacuum pump, and suction blower with super-fine filtration system, ensuring ducts are thoroughly cleaned and air quality verified before and after cleaning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer_in_charge. Note : Work includes labour, machinery, tools, consumables, scaffolding, and safe disposal of collected dust, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs new motorized fire damper with 150 mm frame and 30 mm flange made from 16G G.I. sheet with fusible link, conforming to existing size and specification, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
