Medium Jungles: Clearing medium jungles and trees upto 15 cm. girth including cutting, uprooting roots and stumps, removing them from the site of the work, etc. complete as directed. ( When 30% to 60 % of the area is covered by shrubs,trees etc)

Cutting banana trees, , uprooting roots & stumps including removing them from the site of work, etc. complete as directed

Cutting bamboo , uprooting roots & stumps including removing them from the site of work, etc. complete as directed.

Uprooting bamboo clumps where bamboo already removed including removing stumps to a distance as directed.

Felling trees including uprooting roots and stumps upto 50 cm. below ground, cutting into pieces and removing the same from the site of work as directed. (A) Trees above 0.50m and up to 1m girth:

Earth work in embankment by truck carriage in ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22cm. thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debries, breaking clods up to 2.5cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted on account of shrinkage) For initial lead beyond ½ Km and up to 4.00 Km and for all lifts

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary , etc. complete as directed.

Compacting original ground (i) Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of each layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for embankment construction as per technical specification clauses 301.4.1.

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts.

Construction of whole bamboo single palisading with matured bhaluka bamboo posts 7.5cm to 10 cm dia.,15 cm clear apart 1.50m to 1.80m above ground and 1.00m to 1.20m below ground with bhaluka bamboo inclined struts placed at 1.5m a part tied with three rows of horizontal half jati bamboo kamies etc. complete as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 10.14 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 2.40 nos / Rm)

Supply of serviceable empty cement bags.

Labour charge for laying and pitching earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods, filling in bags and supplying and stitching the mouth with jute sutli, etc. complete as directed. (cement bags will be supplied by the department free of cost). For borrowing earth from a distance beyond 30m. & up to 60m.

Construction of temporrary shed of two roof with mud plinth of 0.45 m height above ground level with Bhaluka bamboo post 1.5 m apart driven at atleast 0.75 m below ground and height above plint 2.5m. Split Jatti bamboo wall mud plastering white washing 2 coats, 10 cm thick touch roofing over bamboo rua frame pplacing at 0.15 m clear apart fitted with bamboo kamies from binding doors and windows with Bamboo Chattai strengthening with Bamboo frame binding with wire etc compple as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 6.00 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 61.00nos / Rm)

Labour charge for clearing white ant nest from the embankment including digging earth, clearing white ant nest, applying anti termite chemical and carrying spoils to a safe distance and filling the pits by fresh earth including ramming, watering etc. Complete as directed.
