BIOMASS DEPOT DEVELOPMENT

Site Grading — cope of job involves carrying out site grading in all types of soil except soft rock and hard rock. Job includes excavation of soil all heights and depths to carry out site grading to required FGL, shifting of soil to unobjectionable place/ dumping place within t site or stacking for future use etc. The item shall include filling depressions wherever necessary, side trimming, watering, consol ating, shoring, bailing out water etc. complete. Obtaining any approval from any statutory authorities required as per prevailing st utory norms, payment of royalty if any for excavation will be in the scope of vendor and quoted rate shall be inclusive of the same. cope also includes removal of stumps and roots, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, grass etc. including roots (except trees with diameter o more than 100 mm) and disposal of the same to dumping yard outside site (NOC of owner of dumping yard to be obtained and submitted f records). The excavated earth shall be separated into serviceable earth and unserviceable earth, which shall be stacked separately ch that serviceable earth shall be available for re-use; all complete as per specifications and instructions of HPCL Engineer-in-Cha e (EIC).The scope also includes levelling, dressing, rolling and compacting both the excavated surface and filled surface. Watering compacting in layers etc. to be undertaken and roller/ compactor of adequate capacity to be used such that 95% compaction shall be a ieved.Measurement for payment shall be based on volume of excavation carried out only. Quoted rates are deemed to include payment o applicable royalty/ seignorage, if any."

Excavation upto 1.5 Meters — he job involves carrying out earthwork in excavation in ordinary soils for foundations, sheds, any other work as per HPCL requiremen for all depths upto 1.5 M from Natural Ground Level (NGL) as given below in all types of soils except soft rock and hard rock. Excav ion may be done manually or with machinery as per the site requirements.Job includes removal of stumps and roots to full extent, if y; removal of all vegetation including bushes and grass, dewatering, levelling, dressing and compacting the excavated surface, load g, transportation and unloading and levelling of excavated earth at a designated dumping spot within HPCL installation premises. The xcavated earth shall be separated into serviceable earth and unserviceable earth, which shall be stacked separately such that servic ble earth shall be available for re-use; all complete as per specifications and instructions of HPCL Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). The u erviceable earth shall be transported and dumped on the unobjectionable site within installation premises and levelled. Quoted rates re deemed to include payment of applicable royalty/ seignorage, if any. Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume e the size of PCC only. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation necessary for workin space, slope, steps etc., required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes andworking space in yers with required compaction etc."

Excavation 1.5 to 3 Meters — he job involves carrying out earthwork in excavation in ordinary, hard and dense soils for foundations, sheds, any other work as per PCL requirement for all depths from 1.5 to 3.0 m from Natural Ground Level (NGL) as given below in all types of soils except soft ro and hard rock. Excavation may be done manually or with machinery as per the site requirements.Job includes removal of stumps and ro s to full extent, if any; removal of all vegetation including bushes and grass, dewatering, levelling, dressing and compacting the cavated surface, loading, transportation and unloading and levelling of excavated earth at a designated dumping spot within HPCL ins llation premises. The excavated earth shall be separated into serviceable earth and unserviceable earth, which shall be stacked sepa tely such that serviceable earth shall be available for re-use; all complete as per specifications and instructions of HPCL Engineer n-Charge (EIC). The unserviceable earth shall be transported and dumped on the unobjectionable site within installation premises and evelled. Quoted rates are deemed to include payment of applicable royalty/ seignorage, if any. Measurement for payment shall be for e theoretical volume i.e the size of PCC only. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavati necessary for working space, slope, steps etc., required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slope andworking space in layers with required compaction etc."

Excavation (with 2 km lead) — me as item for site grading but the job involves loading of earth, transportation, disposal and evenly spreading the same at a disig ted place as advised by EIC within a lead of 2 km.

Surface dressing and compaction 5351-BATHINDA 2G ETHANOL — urface dressing of ground including removing rank vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposalof rubbish, lead p to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m in all kinds of soil. The job includes rolling of the surface to the desired compaction as per the sp ification as directed by site incharge."

Backfilling upto 1.5 M depth — lling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in dep , consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering. Rate quoted by contractor shall include cost towards dumping and sprea ng out of excess excavated soil (After filling) within the premises including loading, transportation, unloading etc. complete. as rected by EIC.

Shrub/ bush removal — e job involves cleaning/ clearing of bushes, shrubs, vegetation etc. excluding the scope covered in excavation, site grading and sur ce dressing. The scope involves cutting/ removal of plants, shrubs, vegetation, roots and stumps, trees (of diameter upto and less t n 100 mm) etc. to unobjectionable place/ dumping yard outside site boundaries which shall be identified by contractor. The job inclu s cutting/ removal of vegetation and other items, loading at site premises, transportation to dumping spots, unloading at dumping sp s, obtaining NOC from owner of dumping spot (NOC of owner of dumping yard to be obtained and submitted for records), levelling/ dres ng of site area after removal of vegetation etc. complete in all respects. The rates shall include cost of labour, machinery, tools d tackles, consumables, transportation, loading and unloading, lifts and leads, equipments etc. complete in all respects. The rates all be quoted considering any income that may be derived/ generated from disposal of vegetation, trees etc.

Tree cutting — lling trees of the girth more than 100 mm (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branche removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.

PCC M-10 — OVIDING, MIXING AND LAYING BEDDING LAYER OF PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE M10 FOR ANY THICKNESS BELOW RAFT FOUNDATION, SUMPS ETC. WITH 20 MM ND DOWN GRADED COARSE AGGREGATES INCLUDING SHUTTERING, CURING ETC. COMPLETE AS PER DIRECTION OF EIC.

PCC M-15 — ROVIDING, MIXING AND PLACING IN POSITION PLAIN/ REINFORCEMENT CEMENT CONCRETE OF GRADEM15 AS PER DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIO WITH 20 MM DOWN GRADED COARSEAGGREGATES INCLUDING PROVIDING AND FIXING OF GOOD QUALITY PLYWOOD SHUTTERING,SCAFFOLDING, MACHINE MI NG, VIBRATING, CURING ETC. COMPLETE AS PER DIRECTION OF EIC."
