Repair/Replacement of unserviceable street light, cable, fixtures and connected items at MFFR under AGE (I) MFFR

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for route of cable and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Srl item No. 01 here in before but exc 1.5m and not exceeding 3.0 in depth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in soft/loose soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming, in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc.1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying of double wall corrigated pipe of outer dia 77mm and inner dia 63 mm with connector for cable protection as per IS-16205 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for borning of holes under main road Pavment,hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound tecnique and necessary machine for accomodet upto 80mm bore DWC pipe in the drilled holes, returning, filling in the end working space including removal of surface soil and making good the surface complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-(i) Dwc pipe shall be measured and paid separetely. (ii) Only length of the road /hard standing /pavement will be measured and necessary excavation at both side of bore will be measured and paid seperately under relevent item of the BOQ.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations of poles above/below ground level including finishing to exposed concrete surfaces even and fair and provision of form work for rough finished surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, pedestal of poles and the like including use and waste of form work (straight or curved), all exposed surface of concrete finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old UNSV/faulty cable and Tracing out fault(s) in existing cross linked poly-ethylene (XLPE) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, LT power cable of any core and size, including excavation, exposing cable, identification of faulty portion, taking out damaged cable section, carrying out necessary repairs, re-laying the serviceable cable through newly supplied DWC pipe, testing and commissioning complete and restoring supply in serviceable condition, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) Necessary excavation, earth work and backfilling shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Supply and laying of DWC pipe shall be measured and paid separately. (c) Straight Through Joint Kit required for repair shall be measured and paid separately. (d) Road cutting, floor cutting and making good the disturbed surfaces shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) Rate shall include fault tracing, testing before and after repair, transportation, labour, T&P and all incidental charges required for completion of work. . (f) If the existing cable is found damaged at multiple locations and beyond repair, it shall be removed from the trench and deposited in the MES Store. The replacement cable shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective items of the contract.
