Servicing and repairing of different capacity DG sets with DG enquiry and Miscellaneous Electrical works at various Telephone Exchange and BTS Sites under area of DET Narnaul of BA Rewari (CH to RMO of EMS under BA Rewari)

Provision of DG Enquiry in Gen shift (i.e 9.00 AM to 5.00PM) six working day in week`s period ( Monday to Saturday) for attending break down and preventive maintenance of DG sets installed at various Exchanges/BTS's under DET Narnaul of BA Rewari by deploying the following manpower & by providing necessary maintenance material . The department material shall be issued by JTO(Elect) from Elect Store. (Nothing extra shall be paid on a/c of cartage of material). Note:- a) There are approximately 105 DG sets in DET Narnaul area of BA Rewari (Rural & Urban Area) where complains are to be attended . The bldgs under scope of work are manned/ unmanned /BTS and each bldg is to be visited every month or as & when any breakdown in DG sets is reported either through this office or telecom authorities. b) The staff may have to work beyond 5.00 PM and in case of emergency/requirement staff may have to be deployed in odd hours also for which nothing extra shall be paid. c) The minor maintenance material & tools required for repair of DG sets shall be provided/carried out by the firm. The items include PVC tape,dhoti,thimbles, nut & bolt etc. d) Nothing extra shall be paid on account of cartage, T & P etc

Servicing of the following capacity E/A sets of different make and model installed at TE/BTS Sites comprising of following jobs i/c Fare and labour charge i/c complete checking of E/A Set after servicing and replacement of consumables for proper working as per manufacturer recommendations etc. complete as reqd. i) Cleaning the bowl inside as well as out side of fuel filter and oil filter , replacement of sealing ring. ii) Cleaning the fuel strainer with clean diesel i/c pressure testing of fuel injector and it should be as per manufacturer recommendation. iii) Normal Cleaning the cooling system (Raditor ) iv) Replacement of Air cleaner element if reqd. v) Checking all belt Drives and retensioning the same etc as reqd. vi) Remove the tapet cover and checking the valve clearance gap between rocker arm toe and valve stem end in cold condition as per manufacturer recommendation i/c replacement of tappet cover gasket if reqd. etc. as reqd. vii) Cleaning the entire E/A Set (inclusive of fins, blower and block) i.e. oil & grease etc. viii) Cleaning of diesel tank if reqd. NOTE: After servicing the set, a trial test also be carried out by the firm for 30 minutes and check its performance working condition status report etc. in Service Report. This item shall be paid only after submission of desired report duly verified by concerned telecom authorities.

Replacement of the following items i/c removal of existing defective parts / items / material etc. in different capacity DEA sets of different makes and models under various exchanges i/c testing / commissioning etc. complete as reqd.

a) Fuel pipe along with banjo bolt and washers

b) Copper Battery lead of standard length and size along with copper terminal & thimble

c) Hour Meter Working on 240 Volt AC Supply (Make - Nishant)

d) Hose pipe set

e) Starting Switch (Key / Push Button Type)

f) Fan Belt

g) SMPS Battery Charger 12 volt DC (5 Amp to 10 Amp Capacity) complete as required etc.

Repairing & Servicing of the existing faulty radiator in existing DEA set by repairing of leakage and cleaning of copper tubes with help of cleaning agents, Dismantling of radiator assembly including transportation, brazing and testing for leakage and re-installation after repairing the same etc. reqd.

Up to 40KVA DEA set.

Beyond 40KVA and up to 75KVA DEA sets

Repairing & servicing of the 12 Volts Engine Starting Self i/c Dismantling, greasing and oiling of bearing and other parts, cleaning, replacement of Bandex Gear, Carbon Brush, rewinding etc. complete checking of self and testing and fitting with proper alignment etc. complete as reqd.

Repairing of the faulty Hand Primming & Feed Pump by the replacement of faulty components i.e. Feed pump piston, valve, spring, gasket, copper washer and oring etc. i/c dismantling, cleaning, testing and refitting the same on the existing E/A set complete as reqd.

Repairing of Fuel Injection Pump (FIP), Nozzle & Injectors i/c dismantling, transportation of Pump, cleaning, repairing, testing and refitting the same on the existing E/A set i/c replacement of faulty components etc. complete as reqd.

Up to 40 KVA DEA Set

Rewinding of the burnt following capacity 3 phase alternator of the DG set i/c rewinding of stator field winding with super enamelled copper wire of suitable size in the following manner: a) Dismantalling the faulty Alternator from Engine by opening the Alternator guard Mesh, alternator plate etc and making the alternator free for transport b) Transportion of the Alternator by Tempo/small Truck to the workshop for Rewinding (To & Fro) c) Rewinding at the workshop d) Trasportion of the repaired alternator back to the site e) Installing back the alternator on the engine by making connection on engine-alternator plate, electrical connections etc f) Testing the alternator on load, commissioning etc complete as reqd Note: Burnt copper wire of faulty alternator winding to be retained by the firm and rates to be quoted accordingly

Replacement of AVR in the existing Alternator (Up to 62.5 KVA) at different TE / BTS Sites i/c Dismantling the faulty, replacement by new one i/c fixing, testing, commissioning etc. complete as reqd.

Dismantalling of 15/30/62.5 KVA make DEA set in silent canopy installed at BSNL BTS / Exchange by opening the DEA set mains cable, charging cable, earth connection, silencer etc and keeping theset aside ready for transportation etc as required.

Lifting of dismantalled 15/30/62.5 KVA DEA set with due care with the help of Hydra/crane and placing on the truck/tempo, hired for transportion.

Charges of hirring the heavy labour for DG shifting job at the BSNL sites where crane/hydra can-not be reached/used due to the site constraints i/c the tools used by the heavy labour i.e. Channels, round pipes, wooden blocks, chain-pulley set etc complete as reqd.

Charges for Transporting the DEA set from one BSNL site to other BSNL site as directed by the engineer incharge with the help of Truck/Tempo with due care.

Unloading of transported 15/30/62.5 KVA DEA set on the foundation at BSNL BTS/Exchange with due care from tempo by means of crane/Hydra and placing at the suitable place as directed by the engineer incharge.

ITC of shifted 15/30/62.5 KVA DEA set by making power connections, control connection , earth connections, testing the set on load etc complete as required.

Replacement of existing faulty batteries for the Diesel Engine Alternatorsets i/c disconnection of faulty battery and Supply and fixing of following capacity batteries along with battery terminals and leads to the sites directed by the Engineer incharge i/c testing comissioning etc complete as reqd -Batteries with Minimum 24 Months Warranty)

Replacement of following type and Capacity Contactors in up to 40 KVA Capacity AMF panel i/c connection testing etc complete as required.

a) 63 A FP MCB type Changeover Switch (Make - L&T / Havells)

Replacement of the existing faulty battery charging cable with 2x1.5 sq mm PVC insulted PVC sheated copper conductor armoured cable i/c connection testing etc as required.

Replacement of existing Faulty/Burnt four pole Changeover switch with 4 Pole 63 Amp. Rating Change Over Switch in sheet steel enclosure having front handle operation suitable to operate on 415volt, 50 Hz AC supply on the existing wall/frame I/c connection testing, signwriting etc. complete as reqd.
