SPL REPAIR TO INTERNAL ROADS INSIDE STATION STORAGE FACILITY (SASF) UNDER GE (N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Supplying, laying & spreading upto 75 mm thick (consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam filling in depression (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer with using mechanical paver using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4 % by weight of total mix with job mix formula, laid / rolled and compacted / consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 4.0% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 4% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 4.0%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 40/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG - 10 grade bitumen ) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over Black top surfaces.

Supplying, laying & spreading 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) of semi dense asphaltic bitumenous concrete premixed cerpet with 0.338 cum crushed and graded coarse aggregate as per design mix formula with bitumen not less than 5.5 % using mech paver rolled and consolidated to reqd camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified.

Repairs to potholes of any depth not exceeding 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well rammed complete all as directed. Note: (i) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of road metal .

Repairs to potholes any depth exceeding 30mm and of area not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m of paving bitumen (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed, depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm. Note: (i) Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge. 100% quantity before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (ii) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, marking etc of 3.0 mm thick film on new surfaces or previously treated road surfaces with hot applied retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White / Golden yellow) conforming to MORT&H (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed. Make : Automark or equivalent make given in Appx 'B'.

All as per ser item No.7 But including removal of existing road marking paint.

S&F in repairs two way (dual direction) reflective road cat eye of plastic body of dimensions 100mmx 110mm x 20 mm with red / amber / white reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Make Dark eye /3M/ Green light or equivalent )

S & F delineator 1200mm long made of 2mm thick steel sheet rectangular OD size 50 x 90mm. Bottom plate 2mm thick of size 150 x 150mm for firm grip welded to base. Top end closed with 2mm steel sheet. At top on both sides diamond grade cube corner micro white reflector of size 75 x 125mm laminated in 2mm deep cavity to make it scratch resistant. Post to have two bands all around of white reflective sheet of width 225mm by keeping black coat as as bands for greater night visibility. All coated with heat process and baked to 120°C or powder coated to make all weather resistant and fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4 with size of block 450mm x 450mm x 600mm deep including earthwork complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rate of PCC & earth work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra. Make :- CAT part No. GPL-11-16 of Make :- Greenlite or equivalent make of 3M/ Dark eye.

Supply and laying 7.5 cm thick ( Compacted thickness) WBM with granite/ trap or basalt stone coarse aggregate of grading 2 /63 to 40 mm size) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber all as specified.

Preparing surfaces WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen primer @ 10 kg per 10 M2 all as specified

M & L for continuous brick edging burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' laid dry on edge vertically along the road complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
