Cutting in earth work in by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting of to the required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site (To be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The recovery of stones, wheather use full or not, for 124.73 Cum ( One hundred twenty four point seventy three cubic metre) @ 300/-(Three hundred seventy) per Cubic metre shall be effected on pro rata bases in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private propriety, human being, machinery during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.
Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring abd bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where balsting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i)1:3:6 (One Cement : three coarse sand) : six graded stone aggregate 20 mm (twenty milimetre) nominal size).
(ii) 1:4:8 (One Cement : four coarse sand) :eight graded stone aggregate 20 mm (twenty milimetre)nominal size)
Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm(One hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Granular material.
Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with spalls and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading, watering and rolling of binding materials, moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP PWD specification 100mm spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (i) In cement mortar.
Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-4 class (Heavy duty) R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2(One cement:two fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i) 600mm(six hundred milimetre) dia RCC pipes.
Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(I )Mild steel and Medium Tensile steel bars
Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i)Two or more coats on new work.
Preparation of sub grade by dressing to combor (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately) depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP PWD specifications including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade complete as per HP PWD specifications including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
