Replacement of two nos. very old 110KW/150HP capacity standby cooling water pump along with motors at Sharavathy Generating Station, KPCL jogfalls-577435, Shimoga Dist, Karnataka

Dismantling the existing cooling water pump motor sets along with concrete bed. All the civil works like removing the priming pipes cement bedding, concrete foundations of pump motor sets at EL 166 Ft. Turbine floor concrete foundation bedding works with suitable packets / opening for motor foundation bolts and pump foundation bolts and fabrication of metal frame structure for erection of motor as per detailed approved drawings of pump motor sets, leveling, curing etc. has to be carried out by contractor. Supply and erection of new motors and KPCL issued pump, leveling proper alignment on concrete bedding to match the existing old suction and delivery pipes flanges with hardware, Gaskets height of centerline of pump suction nozzle and delivery nozzle should match the existing suction pipe flanges and delivery pipe flanges centerline from foundation. Necessary pipes, flanges, bends, gaskets, hardware for retrofitting works and gas cuttings, welding, flanges holes drilling if any should be carried out by the contractor. Necessary gas cutting, nozzles, gas welding machines, welding rods concrete drilling / chipping tools other tools, tackles, chain pulley, pull lifts, terfers, cement, sand strengthening work of concrete with skilled technicians to be carried out. Local transportation for transporting men and material to site to be arranged by contractor. All other works of erection, testing and commissioning as per site Engineers directions should be carried out by the contractor as specified in detailed Technical specification and scope of work furnished in Section-III- of bid document attached in the e portal.
