Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m (One point five metre) in width or 10 sqm (Ten square metre) on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m (One point five metre), including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within all leads and lifts and all kinds of soil including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6 (One cement : three coarse sand : six graded stone aggregate) 20 mm (Twenty millimetre) nominal size in drain (V/U Shape), hard shouldering of berms, retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etcetera including the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm (Fifty three millimetre to zero point zero seven five millimetre) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 (Eight to ten) tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying evenly priming coat with low porosity bitumen emulsion SS-1 on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.00kg/sqm (Zero point seven zero to one kilogram per square metre) using mechanical means as per technical specification clasue 502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying tack coat using with rapid setting bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS:8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom. -On bituminous surface @ 0.25kg/sqm (Zero point two five kilogramme per square metre) including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying Bituminous concrete 30mm (Thirty millimetre) compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 (VISCOSITY GRADE-THIRTY) @ 5.5% (Five point five percent) (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (Two percent) (percentage by weight of Aggregate) using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler prepared in batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 (Hundred two One hundred twenty) TPH capacity, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm ( two point five milimetre ) thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm ( two hundred fifty gram per square metre ) area, thickness of 2.5 mm ( two point five milimetre ) is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying factory made 80mm (Eight millimetre) thick cement concrete paver block of minimum M-50 (M-Fifty) grade with approved colour, design and pattern (NTC/NITCO/GICO) chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks in roads, footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or parking etcetra for heavy vehicular traffice of required strength, thickness and size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick (fifty millimetre) compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-inCharge including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Terms and Conditions:- (i) The work will be strictly executed as per HPPWD specifications (ii) The contractor will procure Cement from Civil Supply Depott. and Emulsion RS-1 & SS-1 from HPCL/IOCL/BPCL at their own level after the approval of permit from the competent authority and other material from market as per Department specification issued by the Addition Chief Secretary PW to the Govt. of HP vide No. PBW (B) C (17) 2/2012 dated 07 August 2018 and all other condition are liable & carriage will be born by the contractor. (iii) Bitumen VG-30 will be issued to contractor from PWD Store at Matani @ Rs. 38141/- per M/T. (iv) All the relevant tests are to be got conducted by the contractor at their own cost from the approved Govt. Laboratory and the tests report are to be submitted to Engineer-In-Charge. (v) The mixing of material shall be done with hot mix plant which should be located not more than 30 Km. from site of work and job mix formula shall be got approved from the Engineer-in-Charge before the start of the work. (vi) The laying of BC shall be done with the paver finisher.
