Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, with TTRS-SERC Campus etc., complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling and stacking within 50 metres lead fencing posts or struts including all earth work and dismantling of concrete etc., complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling barbed wire or flexible wire rope in fencing including making rolls and stacking within TTRS-SERC Campus etc., complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a lead of within the campus etc., Complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Hard rock (blasting prohibited)

Providing, driving with hydraulic piling rigs with power units and installing driven cast-in-situ reinforced cement concrete piles of grade M-25 of specified diameter and length below the pile cap, to carry safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of shoe and the length of pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc. all complete. (Length of pile for payment shall be measured from top of shoe to the bottom of pile cap) :

Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. “(Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum.“Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately).

Concrete of M25 grade with minimum cement content of 330 kg / Cum

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc., CSIR-SERC name should be finished with outside of compound wall for every three metres etc., Complete all as per the innstruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. TTRS-SERC Campus etc., complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used etc., complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface : (including necessary putty etc., complete all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
