Schedule A: Preventive Maintenance of Elevated Structure To carry out the schedule of inspection as per Viaduct manual clause 1.2 in Corridor-1,2 and 1 Extension like inspection of bearing, measurement of camber, visual inspection of Sub & Super Structure, Pier protection and drainage Arrangements with required manpower, machinery, tools, tackles and Competent Engineers and record of same in bridge inspection Register along with photograph of each (a) Bearing Inspection, (b) Camber measurement, (c) Visual Inspection, (d) Drainage Arrangements.

(a) Bearing Inspection: The contractor has to inspect all bearings in all Piers and portals and submit copies of inspection reports along with photographs as specified in the Scope of work, including Cleaning the Debris, Cut Extra Rods and removing unwanted materials like Bird Nests, Shuttering materials, Algae Sedimentation Etc. for Viaduct structures such as BOX Girder, I-Girder, U-Girder The quoted cost includes all tools and machinery required to carry out the work.

(b) Camber Measurement: The contractor has to measure the camber of the Box Girder, U-Girder, Slab and all I-Girders using the total station record the same in the Bridge register and compare the measurement with the Previous Year's Measurement. Permanent markings on the structure should be carried out during measurement. The quoted cost includes all tools and machinery required to carry out the work.

(c) Visual Inspection: The Contractor has to visually inspect the condition of the RCC Pier, Trestle, Protective works and waterway Scours, Slip Or Settlement, Condition of Bearing pedestal, Steel Work, Painting, Condition of PSC/Concrete/Composite Girder in superstructure/ Condition of Girder/beams, any crack or defects, Condition of handrail, Condition of median and pier protection wall, Condition of footpath and walkway platforms and maintain a record of same in Bridge register. The quoted cost includes all tools and machinery required to carry out the work.

(d) Drainage Arrangements: The Contractor has to inspect the condition of Drainage arrangements and submit the report for Corridor- I and Corridor- II including the Station Area, including Cleaning the Debris, Cut Extra Rods and removing unwanted materials like Bird Nests, Shuttering materials, Honeycomb etc., for Viaduct structures such as the Box Girder, I-Girder, U-Girder. The quoted cost includes all means and ways required to carry out the work.

Schedule B: Corrective Maintenance

Grouting of Pedestal: The Contractor has to grout the damaged Bearing Pedestals if any with GP2 or Equivalent Non Shrink Groud material of M60 Garde. The work includes the cost of shuttering, Curing, Removal of the Shutter and man lift for accessing the Bearing Pedestal. Payment shall be made against the actual weight of the Grouting done.

Repair to Voids and Honeycombing: The Contractor has to attend to the Voids and Honeycombs Noticed during inspection with the help of Cement Grout or Epoxy Grout of M60 Garde. The work includes the cost of shuttering, Curing, Removal of the Shutter and man lift for accessing the location to be repaired at any height. Payment shall be made against the actual weight of Material Consumed.

Positioning of Bearing: The Contractor has to bring back the bearing to its original position if any Displacement/Slip is noticed during the Inspection. It is the responsibility of the contractor to make all arrangements for lifting the girder with the jack, Positioning of Bearing, and Removal of Supports after making the structure fit for operation. Access to the site has to be made ready by the Contractor.

Replacement of Bearing: The Contractor has to replace the damaged/excessively bulged Bearing with a new one. It is the responsibility of the contractor to procure( with prior approval from CMRL for specification of Bearing) and install by making all arrangements for lifting the girder with jack, Fixing of new Bearing, and Removal of Supports after making the structure fit for operation. Access to the site has to be made ready by the Contractor.

Plumbing items for Drainage Arrangements including replacement.

Supply and fixing of 160 mm Dia PVC pipe of 4kg/cm2 or of equivalent Dia fixed inside/outside the Viaduct and pier,(Finolex or equivalent Products). The quoted cost includes all means and ways required to carry out the work.

Supply and fixing of 160 mm Dia PVC Dummy/End Cap- PVC SPECIALS AS PER IS 10124/1982 or of equivalent Dia fixed inside/outside the Viaduct and pier with O-Ring Joining & pasting. The quoted cost includes all means and ways required to carry out the work.

Supply and fixing of 160 mm Dia PVC coupler- PVC SPECIALS AS PER IS 10124/1982 or of equivalent Dia fixed inside/outside the Viaduct and pier with O-Ring Joining & pasting. The quoted cost includes all means and ways required to carry out the work.

Supply and fixing of 180 mm Dia HDPE PIPES - PE 100 AS PER IS 4984/2016 - PN-6 or of equivalent Dia fixed inside/outside the Viaduct and pier,(Finolax or Equalant Products). The quoted cost includes all means and ways required to carry out the work.

Steelwork welded in built-up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bars, ladders, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

General Maintenance - One-Time Work Pier Numbering: Supplying and fixing retro-reflective Pier no. boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTM-D-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC: 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high-intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same on Pier by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets and Pasting with Synthetic rubber Adhesives. Signboard of Size - 450 mm x 300 mm on both faces of pier

Re-painting of Open Web Girder at Guindy with one coat of aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacturer confirming to IS.2339 to give an even shade. (Directed By Engineer- Incharge)

Painting/Re-painting of sub-structure of the bridge (pile cap) at Adyar and Coovam River Crossing with two coats of epoxy coal tar.

Painting/Re-painting of sub-structure of the bridge (piers) at Adyar and Coovam River Crossing with two coats of epoxy phenolic IPN coating (primer and middle coat) or CECRI integrated four coat system and finishing with one coat of epoxy phenolic IPN.

RCC Cutting: Cutting of existing RCC parapet wall and walkway slab of viaduct up to 200 mm depth and 3.00 m length by using concrete cutting machine etc., complete in all respects and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The charges for the hiring of man lift, supplying of water using tankers and electricity using diesel generator are inclusive of the rate.

Screed Concrete: Pouring of screed concrete of M25/M30/M35/M40 grade over the existing concrete surface. The cost includes preparation of the surface, taking levels, button marking, pouring of concrete at the site and finishing the surface.

Scaffolding Work: Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven-story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube Challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of the Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment will be made once irrespective of the duration of the scaffolding.

Omega Shaped Expansion Joint: Removal and replacement of existing worn-out omega joints in viaducts conforming to IRC83 - part II. The rate shall include casting of cast-in-situ plinth at the edge of the deck for fixing joints and fixing adhesive. Gap of expansion joint: 100mm.

Core Cutting on Existing RCC Structure and Block Work using Standard Core Cutting Machine of Size 100 to 200 mm Dia and depth of 150 to maximum of 450 mm.

Core Cutting on Existing RCC Structure and Block Work using Standard Core Cutting Machine of Size 100 to 200 mm Dia and depth above 450 to maximum of 800 mm.

Hiring of Machinery

Hiring of Deisel Generator 100 KVA/125 KVA with operator and fuel

Hiring of Tata-407 or equivalent for local shifting with driver and fuel

Hiring of Cranes up to 20T capacity with driver and fuel ( Minimum Hiring Charges will be paid for 3 hrs if the usage is below 3 hrs)

Hiring of Truck Mounted Boom lift of 120 ft Height for a minimum period of 1 day up to a maximum of 5 days.

Hiring of Truck Mounted Boom lift of 120 ft Height for more than 5 days.

Hiring of diesel-operated dewatering Pump of discharge capacity 4000 ltr/hr and above. The quoted cost includes fuel, operator and other incidental charges.

Conducting Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test (UPV) upon suspected concrete surfaces by direct/semi/indirect method as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. The quoted cost includes the preparation of reports and submission.
