WORK RELATED TO LEAKAGE REPAIR WORK AT VARIOUS RWSS OF BLOCK GIRWA SUB DN UDAIPUR

Repairing of leakage in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main AC/PVC/HDPE pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material to make repair leak proof and then refilling of excavated trench/pit/road shall be done properly i.e. after a layer of 20cm with propoer watering and ramming in layers. For entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of material required from store. (Required material such as pipe piece, CID Joints shall be provided by Department free of cost)

Add 5 % on above item no. 1.1 for B.T. Road

Add 15% on above item no. 1.1 for C.C. Road . Pit in CC Road shall be cut in optimum size through CC cutter machine only.

Add 20% on above no. 1.1 item if depth of pipeline is above 1.5 mtr and up to 3.0 mtr.

Add 30% on above no. 1.1 item if depth of pipeline is above 3.0 mtr.

Minor repair of leakages such as lead caulking, plugging, clamping and ring fixing in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main AC/PVC/HDPE/CI/MS/DI pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site to make repair leak proof and then refill the pit from excavated sand by ramming it at sides of pipe & upto ground level for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of required material from store. (Required material such as lead wool, white hump, plugs, clamps etc. shall be provided by Department free of cost)

Replacement of CI/ DI Double flange sluice valves, non return valves, butter fly valves etc. in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including providing and fixing MS Nut and Bolt and rubber gasket, dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site and then refill the pit from excavated sand by ramming it at sides of pipe & upto ground level for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of required material from store. (Required material such as Valve, Tail piece, CID Joints etc. shall be provided by Department free of cost)

Add 20% on above item no. 1.4 if depth of pipe line is above 1.5 mtr to 3.0 mtr

Deduct 20% on above item no. 1.4 if valve is fixed at plinth level / platform i.e. no excavation is required

Removal of Choking from pipe line, including tree roots, malba, sand and other by manually or other means, cleaning of line and testing in existing Distribution/Rising Main/Transmission Main AC/PVC/HDPE/uPVC pipe line up to 1.5 mtr depth of sizes as given below by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work including dewatering and providing adequate safety arrangement at site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material and then refill the pit from excavated sand by ramming it at sides of pipe & upto ground level for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour and will arrange transportation of required material from store. (Required material such as pipe piece CID Joints shall be provided by Department free of cost)as per satisfaction of EIC. Rates for per pit.

Disconnection of water connection from existing pipe line in all type of soils up to 1.5 mtr depth by digging out suitable size of pit at site of work, with cutting of service line and refixing of clamp revolving it 180 degree refill the pit from excavated sand by ramming it & upto ground level for entire job contractor will use his own T&P & labour.

Survey of the locality of polluted water supply for preliminary assessment of source of pollution during supply hours

Labour charges for digging of pit of suitable size for removal of water pollution on existing distribution AC/PVC/uPVC/HDPE pipe lines up to 1.5 mtr depth including cutting of pipe and assessment of direction of flow of polluted water during non supply hours, identifying the source of pollution and repairing of fault in pipe line by fixing of pipe piece with jointing material (pipe and jointing material shall be supplied by department) to make it leak proof and then refilling the pit from excavated sand by ramming it at site of pipe upto ground level. The rate includes all labour charges to complete the work for pipe size

Restoration of bitumen road by patch work of WBM using crushed / broken aggregate as per the standard specification and consolidation with hand rammer spreading and consolidation of binding material , cleaning of surface of WBM and providing of seal & tack coat as per site condition by using ready cold mix up to the satisfaction of engineer in charge. The rate includes the making of pit in regular shape, all labour, material and T&P charge complete job.

Restoration of cement concrete road including making of pit in regular shape, ramming and consolidation of surface, laying, positioning and compacting cement concrete ( M-20 ) minimum thickness 200 mm upto the satisfaction of engineer incharge.
