   QUANTITY SPLITTING : AS PER CLAUSE NO.2.17.2 OF BID DOCUMENT VERSION 14 OR LATEST WITH ALL CORRIGENDA AND AMENDMENTS IF ANY ISSUED BEFORE CLOSING OF TENDER.

   Special conditions:(i)All cylinders/tankers should be provided with a cap secured on it. (ii)All cylinders/tankers should be hydro-tested and next due date of hydro should be clearly indicated on them. (iii)The supply will be made by firm in its own cylinders/tankers (returnable) through their transport arrangement. (iv)The supplier/OEM must have all legal/statuary approval from the licensing authority, license to manufacture/supply tenderer items. (v) Trader and re-bottlers will not be entertained. (vi)The supplies from manufacturers will be accepted directly from their manufacturing unit and not from their re-bottling unit. Supplies of the manufacturers from their appointed re-bottlers will not be entertained. (vii)Manufacturer's extra high purity gases should have well equipped on line and laboratory quality control facilities such as gas chromato graph, moisture meter oxygen analyser capable to detect all the impurities as per RCF's specification. (viii)The record of other requirements such as pipe line leakage test, cylinders/ tanker evacuation, hydro static test of cylinders, corrective preventive action taken on rejected lots, laboratory re-testing of filled cylinders/tankers etc. may be seen before placing orders. (ix)Work test certificate , technical manpower, quality assurance plan etc.may also be required from the supplier. (x)Warranty certificate against less pressure, less weight, leakage, safety of cylinder/tanker etc. may also be required from the supplier. (xi) Firm will supply the gas as per supply schedule given by Depot. Depot will give any schedule at least 10 days in advance, in case firm fail to supply the gas within 02 days of scheduled date, RCF will arrange the gas from alternative sources and Purchase Order will be cancelled by imposing GD @10% of the value of the quantity for which supplier has failed to meet the Delivery Schedule given by Depot; not withstanding Terminal Delivery Period of contract is available. For example: If the schedule is 15th April and firm fail to supply latest by 17th April, RCF will restore to alternate arrangements as detailed above by giving Notice of 24 hours. (xii) GD@10% of the value of quantity for which supplier has failed to meet the Delivery Schedule given by Depot will be imposed; not withstanding Terminal Delivery Period of contract is available.    (xiv) Cylinder rental charges: Minimum 15 days rent free period should be given by firm. It is, hereby confirmed that the item under tender/supply has not been banned and firm has not been de- listed from the registration on the grounds of sub-standard quality of the item/product by any government authorities.
