| 1Work involves cleaning of porcelain of drive insulator and porcelain of vaccum interrupter from outside of each pole and sealing the vaccum pole by applying anabond.Checking & adjustment of snatch gap,travel of drive insulater rod & tie rod of each pole.Opening,repairing of breaker mechanism including welding,drilling,machininh and filling of materials if required and proper fitting of it in breaker cubical.Oilng and greasing of crank gears by opening of lock pin etc.Replacement of worn out parts such as bushes,ring,lockpins and trip latch etc.Checking & adjustment of oil daspot of breaker for its damping action.After major overhaulling and repairing of VCBs ,following tests are to be carried out.Opening and colsing time of breaker of each pole.Carrying out contact Resistance Measurement (CRM test)of each pole.Checking of meggar values of breaker poles.Checking tripping of breaker at 70 % DC voltage.Checking the CLOSE/OPEN operation of breaker from Remote & Local.finally prepare and submit the site overhaulling report of each breaker in 03 nos. copies. | |||||
