M& L for making good/repair to potholes in concrete slabs (exposed rigid pavement) by cutting area exc 50 sqcm and 25 to 35 mm deep and cutting spilled joint, sides perpendicular and parallel to edges by mechnical tools like diamond cutter, cleaning with compressed air under pressure and filling with epoxy resin mortar ( 1:5) with one part of epoxy and five parts of sand after application of specified resin primer and removal to rubbish to a distance exc 250m and not exc 500 m and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed. (Note:Application of epoxy to be done through authorised Applicator)

M&L Cleaning the existing cracks 5 mm to 10mm wide & average 20mm deep as in bituminous surface of runway, by blowing all loose foreign particles with air compressor, removing rubbish outside MoD land and filling the cracks with bitumeneous compound conforming to IS 1580, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : Shalimar Tar Products Ltd/ Tiki tar products/ Hindustan Petroleum/Indian oil Corporation.

M & L for applying BitumenEmulsion(Cationic Type) grade RS-1 cold emulsion conforming to IS IS:8887:2004 @ 1.5KG/sqm as approved to rough surface of flexible pavement and finished with existing surface complete all as specified and directed as per manufacture instruction.

S & F in repairs sign/link board of size 2.8mX0.8mX0.15 mtr, box made out of MS square hollow tube of size 25mmX25mmX3mm thick, all sides covered with designed polycarbonate 2mm thick sheet having designed/approved choice alphabets/symbol inclusive of arrangement for fixing 2 Nos LED tube lights of 18W inside box, fixed over a stiftners of MS hollow square tube of size 25X25X3mm including electrical connection with flexible wire. The complete box shall be fixed over two legs made out of MS hollow square tubes of size 40X40X5 mm of length 750mm, duly grouted in PCC 1:3:6 (blocks of size 30X30X45 cm) including necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F in repairs ploycarbonate sheet 2mm thick for sign/link board having designed of approved choice alphabets/symbol including refixing arrangement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for raking of joints/removing of old sealing compound, dirt from 20 mm thick expansion joint and cleaning the joints properly for full depth of PQC and filling with 20 mm thick premoulded compressible filler polythylene closed cell type board as specified and applying closed cell, medium density, cross linked polythylene foam back up rod of 25 mm dia over filler board, priming top 12 mm with approved primer and filling with polyurethane based sealeant, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant all as per the directions of the manufacturer, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Repair will be carried by through authorised Applicator)

M&L for raking of joints/removing of old sealing compound, dirt from construction / Dummy joints (25mm deep x10mm wide/ 40 mm deep X10 mm wide )cleaning the joints properly by mechanical means for full depth, filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam back up rod of 12 mm dia, for complete width of the joint, priming top 10 mm with specified primer and filling with polyurethane based sealant, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant and as specified and as per the directions of the manufacturer, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Repair will be carried by through authorised Applicator)

M & L for repairs of potholes, edge deformation, overlays , edge repairs , carpeting in asphlt and concrete with pre ready mix of required grade(standard/fine grade) for flexible pavement including marking the affected area along the motions and cutting properly into square and rectangular profiles up to depth of 40 to 80mm (average 60mm depth) including cleaning, compaction using vibrator compactor plate or steel wheel roller (for samll potholes a hand tamp can be used) leaving a crown of height 2.5cm allowing for secondary compaction as result of traffic flow and removing waste material to distance exc 500mtrs all as directed and specified. (Note:Application of pre mix macadum to be done through authorised Applicator)

M&L preparing and cleaning existing asphaltic/concrete surface with wire brushes etc and applying one coat of road marking paint (Aqua Base) white/golden yellow/orange / Black for paint over main runway area taxi lines, holding point, ORP, turn pad, dispersal, signal square ,Wind direction indicator base, letters,oblitration etc width or girth exc 100 mm complete all specified and as directed.

M&L for bringing approved earth filling from outside MOD land and stacking at nearby places where required and as directed by Engr in charge. Note:-For payment purpose stack measurement will be entered in MB and 10% shall be deducted for voids.

M&L Spreading levelling approved earth in layers n.exc 25cm thick and well ramming including watering as required and consolidation with hand roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
