Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes to level as shown in the drawing and as directed by engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302, 304 & 1603 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to required width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 17072.41 Cum quantity (twenty six thoousand four hundred twenty five point fifty seven) cubic metres at the rate of 300/- (Rupees Three hundred) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills on pro-rate basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public, private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (three hundred millimetre) below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Technical Specification Clause 303.. Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded materials mixing in mechanical mix plant at OMC and carriage of mixed material to site of work in all leads and spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, and compacting with smooth Wheel 80-100 (Eighty-hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 401 for grading I material as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. (Zero point Eight five kilogram) per square metre using mechanical means as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 502 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 kgs. (Zero point two Seven five kilograms) per Square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge. Providing and laying 30mm (thirty milimetres) thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 (one hundrd-one hundred twenty) TPH batch type HMP (Hot Mix Plant) producing an average output of 75 tonnes (Seventy five) tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-10 (Viscosity grade-Ten) @ 5.5% (Five point Five ) percent of weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH technical specification clause 507 complete in all respect and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
