Labour charges for cleaning the existing sunshade tops, roof terraces, canopy / sunshade tops in staircases by removing the unwanted materials, debris and dry leaves etc., including removing the vegetation growth along with roots, applying suitable chemicals, plugging the holes using CM 1:3, collecting and disposing the waste materials by suitable means at places shown within 2 KM lead etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of cleaning the common roof terrace, roof of OHT & canopy/sunshades in staircase area. 2) The work shall be carried out minimum three times per year or as and when required as directed by EIC. 3) All labours deployed for cleaning shall strictly follow the safety rules and wear PPE.

Replacing the existing wood work by supplying, manufacturing and fixing of Teak wood frames and architraves for doors, windows, ventilators, etc., made out of best quality teak wood scantlings with necessary holdfast/anchor fasters, wooden plugs and screws for fixing it to the various openings including removing the old door frame / shutter with all fittings, refixing the shutter to the new frame, finishing the sides with plastering white/colour washing to match with existing surface, painting the new wood with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc., and returning the retrieved old materials to GSO civil maintenance stores, etc., all complete as per the specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Clearing the light jungles, bushes and unwanted growth of vegetations, etc., by using Mechanical means including the cost of hire charges for bush cutter, collection and disposing the same by mechanical means to the dumping yard as shown by the Department, etc., as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Operations.

No payment shall be released unless certificate from EIC showing clearance of debris is produced in each RA bill and Final bill. 6) Labours working on the scaffolding should be with safety belts, helmets and they should wear the same while working. Labours seen not wearing safety belts & helmets shall be sent out of the work immediately and a penalty of Rs.1000.00 per person per day will be levied.
