Revised PHED BSR 2023/ 1.1 : Providing, lowering, laying in trenches, aligning, fixing in position and jointing Ductile Iron (DI) ISI marked K-7 grade S&S pipes as per IS:8329-2000 (amended up to date), with internal cement mortar lining suitable for potable water with rubber ring (EPDM) joints as per IS: 5382-1985 including all taxes (Central and local), transportation and freight charges, inspection charges, loading/ unloading charges, including cost of labour and material, specials (Tee, bend etc.) satisfactory hydraulic testing, disinfection, commissioning etc. complete as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (excluding earth work)

Based on O&M PHED BSR 2020 Maintenance of pipelines irrespective of size & material which includes Repairing of Bursts & leakages pollution control, survey & removal of choking, disconnection of illegal connections, Collection & recording minimum 10 nos. residual chlorine samples during daily supply timings, interconnections and all works related to pipeline network in existing distribution / rising main pipe lines of all sizes by digging out suitable size of pit in soft and loose soil/ hard soil including cutting of Black top, WBM & CC top of road of any size at work site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material to make repair leak proof and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers. For entire job contractor will use their own T & P. Contractor with his own resources shall arrange de-watering, JCB & Tractor compressor if any and restore any amenity at his own cost damaged while performing the work in this item. The work includes daily patrolling and repair the leakages within stipulated time and complete maintenance of pipe line network of rising and distribution pipeline network within the area. Transportation of drinking water by road through tractor with tanker of capacity 4000 LTR. The payment of TOW work shall be done on the basis of tanker trip reports received from GSM and GPS based real time water tanker tracking management information system. To access this Application contractor has to provide one android mobile phone with internet connection to each tanker driver and each tanker need to be fitted with 40mm" dia good quality transparent uPVC/PVC pipe with floating PVC ball & level scale and connected to bottom of tanker as per direction of EIC. No extra payment shall be done to contractor for such items. Water is to be arranged by contractor as per directions of EIC and the transportation is to be carried as per scope of work and directions issued by department time to time.
