Carpenter (Skilled) for Repair and Maintenance work related to carpentry of office building, Laboratory and Hostel/Guest house at IPR and FCIPT Campus including Door and window hardwares repair/ replacement like door closures, door stopper, handle, hinges, aldrop, Tower bolt; glass works, Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob etc, Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws, Builds or repairs cabinets, box, Cupboard, Drawers, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools; Sealing of door/windows with silicon/PU sealant/Aluminum sheet/GI sheet or any other sealing material so that water leaking can be stopped. Door closer and door stopper repair work, Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools, Inspects false ceiling, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures and repair of the same, Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed; Inspect places, Interact with users and understand his concern/problem, Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports, conduct repairs or maintenance as per users requirement, All other carpentry works as directed by IPR Engineer In Charge. Work to be done from 9AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to friday. In case of emergency, Manpower may called on Saturday / Sunday or holiday including before or after office hours. (As and when required). Tools and tackles i.e.. tape, framing square, Try square, saw, drill kit, hammer, chiesel, Screw driver,hand planer,hacksaw,hand saw,level, spanner set, etc. for carpentry work should always be available with carpenter. Note:- Minimum base price for this item as per Minimum wage, labour laws and other statutory compliances is Rs 1482/- per day. Contractor must quote greater than or equal to this rate.
