Annual Rate Contract (ARC) 2026-2029 for Maintenance, Repair and Addition & Alteration works at Office & Residential Complexes at ONGC Anna Nagar Colony, Chennai- 101 for the period 2026-2029.

1 Comprehensive maintenance including servicing, cleaning and greasing of parts wherever required of 1010 KVA DG set (Make :- Kirloskar/ Cummins- 02 Nos) install at various locations in non technical area by the authorised technician/ service engineer of OEM or their authorised service dealer, checking the machanical and electrical healthyness of the diesal engine and alternator, servicing of the DG set including cleaning & replacement of air filter, changing of fuel filter and lubracating oil filter,draining out unserviceable engine oil from engine and re-fill with new engine oil, cleaning all sludge/deposits in the oil sump and removed off the site as per schedule, minor adjustment of control parameters, greasing, tracing out the defects and replacement of defective spares, testing, calibration, checking of coolent level in radiator, repairs to leakage in radiator if requied, gasket, oil seals, V belts of any sizes, required pipe with fittings servicing of water pump, adjustment of fuel firing, repair to self starter, repair to alternator, repair to CT, repair to any type of relay, replacement of auxiliary switch,replacement of contactor, repair of fuel injector pump , repair to auto voltage regulator and top up of electrolite solution, arresting the oil leakage and topping up the engine oil replacement of unserviceable oil level tube on the fuel tank, repair of control wiring panel of DG set of suitable size of copper wire including repair/ replacement of toggle switch etc and connected accessories as directed and commissioning including taking out the old unserviceable one to keep the DG set healthy and serviceable required at interval of 6 months complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site. (Notes :- (a) Engine oil, coolant, oil filter element, fuel filter element, bypass filter element, fan belt and water separator will be measured and paid separastely as applicable.(b) In case, any abnormality found in between normal routine inspections, the service personnels must attend the service call urgently within 24 hrs.(c)Apart from these routine servicings, major repair/replacement if any as decided by Engineer-in-Charge will be measured and paid separately available within the scope of this schedule.(d)A Log Book indicating the details of all types of repairs and maintenance carried out time to time has to be recorded by the contractor's rep/supervisor and endorsed by JE(E/M) and AGE(E/M) . The contractor's rep/supervisor will monitor the serviceability of all the DG Sets and give report to JE (E/M) and AGE(E/M). This register is required to be produced at the time of claiming payment. (e) Replaced spare part shall be as per make of DG sets duly recommended by OEM (f) If any breakdown of DG set happened any time during period of contract agreement, the OEM or their authorised service dealer immediately attend the office the GE (AF) Panagarh (within the 24 hours after written/verbal intimation) for carry out the breakdown work and DG shall be serviceable with requirement of any spare parts which is not mentioned in this items and cost of same shall be included in the item. (g) In case the breakdown/comprehensive maintenance are not attend/resolve within the stipulated time ordered by the GE, the contractor is liable to pay penalty of Rs. 1000/- per unit per day till attend. (h) During maintenance of DG set if found the door of DG set not properly working or unserviceable due to rusted or otherwise then door shall be replaced duly painted with spray gun to match the existing colour by the contractor as per requirement at site. Cost of the door including spray painting of DG set with using spary gun and labour charges shall be inclusive in this item. (j) Cost of the spare parts otherthan engine oil, coolant, oil filter element, air filter element, fuel filter element, bypass filter element, fan belt and water separator shall be inclusive in this item. (k) All labour charges and service charge of OEM or their authorised service dealer and tesing report, log book maintenance or others spare parts etc not mentioned in this item shall be inclusive in this item. (l) Painting of DG set if requird shall be painted with spray gun ti match the existing cocour by the contractor as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
