Material & Labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 6 % binder content by weight of total mix , laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note- i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall mix design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 ( Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009, The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 60.00 per Kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side.
