Providing and laying Bitumen Penetration Macadam with hard stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified, with bitumen of suitable penetration grade, including required key aggregate as specified, spreading coarse aggregate with the help of self propelled/ tipper tail mounted aggregate spreader and applying bitumen by a pressure distributor and then spreading key aggregate with the help of aggregate spreader complete, including consolidation with road roller of minimum 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve specified values of compaction and surface accuracy : a) For 75 mm compacted thickness in two layers using stone aggregate of size 63-41 mm graded @ 0.90 cum per 10 sqm key aggregate of size 20.0 mm graded @ 0.18 cum per 10 sqm. With paving asphalt grade VG - 10 @ 68 kg/10 sqm.

Open-Graded Premix Surfacing using Bituminous (Viscosity grade Paving Bitumen / Modified bitumen) Binder and Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) Providing, laying and rolling of Open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm (@ 0.018 m³ per m²) and 11.2 mm (@ 0.009 m³ per m²) size stone aggregates, including thoroughly cleaning of the surface, screening, cleaning and pre-heating stone chips and fully pre-coating the same either using viscosity grade paving bitumen or cut-back or emulsion, carrying the mixture by any suitable arrangements, laying the mixture uniformly over the surface, including line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and thoroughly rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades including the cost and carriage of stone chips and matrix, heating the matrix, preheating the aggregates to required temperature and including the hire charges of Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and other machinery, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricants etc. complete to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 for Rural Roads of MORD.

Preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat on un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces with paving bitumen primer using bitumen VG-10 paving grade ( 80 -100 penetration) @ 10 Kg per Ten Square Metre with tar boiler, complete, all as specified and as directed.
