Excavation work by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/ manual in all height and depths and in all kind of soil including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil , setting out true to the required line, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes as shown in the drawing and if water is met with in the excavation due to springs, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by the suitable diversion pumping or bailling out and excavation shall be kept dry wherever so required by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge and disposal all surplus excavated soil upto 2.00 mtr lead in acquired width including its stacking leveling dressing including all lead and lifts by head load, mechanical transportation or by any other mode of transportation with all cost of labours, machineries and other incidentals to complete the work as per HPPWD specification. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution and disposal of unserviceble meterial shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all case. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.
