M&L for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20 x 3.15mm as earthing lead by means of brass/gunmetal bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point including PCC earth pit having outer diamension of 60cmx60cmx60cm and internal diamention of 30cmx30cmx30cm with CI cover, GI protection pipe 50mm dia light grade for earth lead from earth plate to testing point and watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, with one number funnel duly welded wire mesh, filling of charcoal and salt surrounding of earth plate and excavation and earth work in any type soil complete all as specified and directed including testing on completion.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to galvanized iron earth lead wire 4mm dia, (main earthing lead ) by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 5 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt alround earth plate & 15 mm dia GI pipe light grade for earth lead protection pipe for suitable length and GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh including necessary earth work and PCC (1: 3 : 6) type C-1 for earth pit and 40 mm thick pre-cast RCC cover in 1 : 2 : 4 type B1 with 3 Nos 8 mm dia TMT bars both ways with lift hook made out of 8mm dia bar complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and laying cable XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 10 Sqmm 2 core, fixing along the poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor of through walls etc jointing and testing complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Excvation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately)

Safe Carriage of Following materials from Store Center to the actual site of work including measuring, weighing,Safe loading, unloading at both ends and proper stacking at site.(ALL DECENTRALISED MATERIAL WILL BE ARRANGED AND PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR.)

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, connected to galvanized earth wire 4.00 mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel , procteded by GI pipe 15 mm bore( light grade) and watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe (light grade) and chamber of pcc 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate and coping shall be in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone agg. 50 mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone agg. reinforced with 8 mm dia MS tor bar @ 80 mm c/c both ways including excvation and earth work and removal of surplus soil complete all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of SSR PT 1, 1991 with charcoal dust and salt complete and earth lead connected to earthing test point (up to main switches, DBs) including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as specified & testing on completion. NOTE:- (I) item includes the cost of 7.5 mtr length GI pipe for protection for GI earth wire. (ii) item rates includes the cost of 7.5 mtr earth lead GI earth wire. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
