M &L for detecting and repairing the water leakage (STP treated Water) laid uPVC/PVC/GI/HDPE/PPR pipeline as mentioned below including necessary excavation work,bailing out stagnated/muddy water all as directed. Note : (i) Contractor shall depute labour/pipe fitter and other requirements such as JCB/Tractor and fuel etc. to attend the leakage / complaint on daily basis as per complaint trace out. (ii) Complete site for attending the leakage shall not be handed over to contractor at a time.Site of leakage only handed over to the contractor on site requirements basis. (iii) Contractor/supervisor shall collect complaint of leakage from concerned JE as daily basis and shall complete the complaint on the same day. (iv) If the leakage found during the currency period of contract at the repaired location contractor shall repair again without any extra cost in terms of condition 46 of IAFW-2249 of General condition of contracts. (v) Contractor shall provide equipments like JCB/Tractor etc & fuel at his own cost and arrangement for rectifying the complaint as per site requirement and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (vi) The cost of Excavation & Earth work is included in this item nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (vii)The Cost of new uPVC/PVC/GI/HDPE/PPR fittings & uPVC/PVC/GI/HDPE/PPRpipe of length 1 mtr of as mentioned below size along with necessary new CI/DI - ('D' Joint)connected fittings 'D' joint included in this item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
