Repairs / maintenance of electrically operated Passenger/goods lift ( 01 x13 Passenger and 1 x 08 Passenger capacities) at INS Karna / INS Kalinga by employing trained Lift mechanics / qualified electricians as specified with collective/selective control schedule by carrying out periodical checks, repairs and testing as recommended by manufacturers of Lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge to ensure smooth/safe and efficient operation, including inspecting and cleaning the interior of the lift,verifying proper functioning of the buttons and indicators,lubricating moving parts and hinges,inspecting and cleaning door mechanism,testing emergency communication systems,inspecting and cleaning hoistway and pit area,testing and adjusting door closing and leaving,checking and cleaning elevator shaft lighting,testing and recalibrating elevator sensors and switches,inspecting and adjusting door locks and latches , fixing only spares and all as specifed in particular specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
