Servicing/repairs to 1 No. flood affected foot valve of 200 mm dia. and p/f of new foot valve of 200 mm dia. in place of damaged one at the suction sides by way of dismantling the foot valves & extracting the same submerged in silt by using chain pulley blocks along with skilled labour & then removing the silt and then cleaning of mud/silt from pipes and foot valves using special tools and tackles and chain pulley block. Assembling of the new foot valves Complete dismantling of foot valves clearing the silt from hinges of foot valve to unchoke them. Applying sufficient quantity of grease to hinges. Further cleaning of mud/silt/debris from the cutted suction pipes and foot valves using special tools and tackles. Providing/fitting of new leather washers cut to size, adjustment of flaps/plate with repairs to hinges. Reassembling the 1 No. repaired old foot valve along with suction pipes done by providing/fitting of new sheets and nuts, bolts etc. Job further involves lowering of the foot valves along with suction piece by using chain pulley block and skilled labour, joining of the bends and the suction pipes by bolting via flanges with appropriate no. of new nuts and bolts. Complete job includes cost of material used and labour charges for skilled and semiskilled labour employed, safety provisions, transportation, less cost of rebate on account of old damaged parts and other hire charges at site.
