Dismantling the suction pipes from 2 No. damaged Horizontal Centrifugal pump sets of 4 cusec discharge by creation of the support for the hanging suction pipes using temporary platform of bamboo scaffolding and planks for accessing the suction pipes using cutters operated by DG set at site each at a time. Similarly accessing the inside of the pump room with tools tackles and labour, dismantling the delivery lines of 2 no. pumps by cutting out the rusted nuts and bolts with cutter and welding set. The job also includes dismantling of the 2 No. 250 mm dia Sluice valves and 2 no. 250 mm dia Reflux valves from 250 mm dia. MS delivery pipes by cutting the nut bolts and flanges followed by stacking of dismantled sluice valves and reflux valves outside the pump room for its further loading. The job further includes de coupling each pump motor set (2 No) by cutting out the rusted nut and bolts of pulley with cutter and welding set and unlocking each pump motor set from the base frame by cutting out the rusted nut bolts by cutter and welding set and the extraction of 2 no. base frames embedded in concrete platform by cutting out the concrete with the help of concrete cutter, chisels and other tools and tackles using skilled and semiskilled labour. The job includes dismantling of 1 No. 200 mm foot valves from suction line by cutting the nut bolts and flanges followed by stacking of dismantled foot valves outside the pomp room for its further loading. The complete job includes cost of hire charges of machinery, D G set, welding set, cost of material, earth works, labour skilled and semiskilled etc.

G.I. EARTHING: xiii) Earthing with G.I. wire/ rope in G.I. pipe partly recessed and partly on surface complete with 150cm long 50mm dia. G.I. earth pipe (Cutting threads and 36 Nos. holes, 1cm dia. to make a mesh around the GI Pipe) with G.I. reducing socket including erection of the same, 4.50 metre (14.76 feet) below ground level with 20Kg. charcoal & salt mixture etc., up to 8 metre in length (including boring & refilling) a) Earthing with 8 S.W.G. (4mm dia.) G.I. wire in 15mm dia G.I. pipe with G.I. reducing socket 50mm x 15mm (upto 8Metre in length)
