Contd.....1/- (iii) Contractor shall give guarantee from OEM of 5 years for effectiveness of painting carried out by them from the certified date of completion of work. (iv) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (v) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc (vi) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (vii) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (vii) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (ix) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.

Throughly removing the white wash or colour wash wall surfaces by steel wire brushing and /or scraping, sand papering, and preparing the wall surface smooth ;inlcuding necessary repairs to scraches , providing and applying synthetic plaster of putty or cement based putty of average 1-2mm thickness over plasted wall surfaces to prepare the surface even and smooth after throughly brushing the surface to remove all dirt and remains of loose powdered materials, appliane memory paper , sanding the surface, clean and wipe off loose dust, applying / knifing paste filler by putty knife / muslin pad, Air dry for 2 - 3 hours , sand with 180& 320 No. sand paper for the surface preparation, Painting with 2 coats of plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and shade over one coat of interior grade cement primer ( total 3 coats ) after thoroughly brushing the surface to remove all dirt and remains of loose powdered materials, including cost and conveyance of all materials to work site and all operational, incidental, labour charges etc. complete for finished item of work as per SS 911 for internal walls.

Finishing with Deluxe Multi surface paint system for interiors and exteriors using Primer as per manufacturers specifications :Painting wood work with Deluxe Multi Surface Paint of required shade. Two or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @0.75 ltr/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture. (DSR- 13.48.2)

32 The quoted rate shall be inclusive of providing and erecting temporary barricading of height as per above 'Guidelines for Air Pollution mitigation' (but minimum 10 feet height) using structural steel (MS Pipes or angle iron frame work etc.), covered with tin / GI sheets of approved colour & shade, Struts, MS Clamps, Bracing etc. and shall have wicket gate & material gate and including writing and painting of direction & instructions, providing glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape etc. Prior written approval of Engineer-in-Charge of the sketch/ drawing showing details of barricading shall be obtained by the contractor. The barricading shall be provided and retained in position at site continuously during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour, materials, equipments and works required to execute the job such as earth work, concrete, welding etc. After completion of work, Contractor shall remove and take away the barricading at his own cost with the prior approval of Engineer-In-Charge. The entire work shall be executed as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. No work shall be allowed unless the barricading is completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The Contractor shall submit a certificate for completion of barricading along with 1st RA bill after certifying by Engineer-in-Charge for releasing the payment.

Painting markings of Runway/Parallel Taxi Track/Link Taxi Tracks/Apron/Isolation Bay/other Pavements etc. by mechanical means with Fully/Semi Automatic Paint Applicator Machine (using cold airless spray machine with minimum two spray gun) to give uniform finished with water based road marking paint of approved make, driven by experienced operator including cost of paint (paint will be supplied by Agency) and cost of T&P. The work shall include the cleaning of existing surface of runway, taxiway, apron, isolation bay, other pavements etc. of all dirt seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of EIC and in accordance with applicable specification and Particular Specification. (one or more coats). (The paint consumption shall be not less than 1.66 litre/10sqm)
