Deputing 18 staff for Artisan staff(Unskilled Man- laborers) for Masonary work, Plumbing Days work, Carpentry work, welding, brazing of all work for repairs of taps & flush tanks, pipelines, replacement of broken window glass, repairs to door & window fittings, etc as per Railway Engineer instructions. Note:- (1) 18 nos of un-skilled staff is considered. Hence, (365days) x (2years) x (18 Men)= 13140 man-days (2) Min. wages rates for area "A" is considered. Total 16300170.00

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of classdesignation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) DSR 2023 SI. No- 6.1.1

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and for all lift,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Flash butt welding of all type of 20 rail panels Each (60Kg or higher, new/in service) at site using contractor's own mobile flash butt welding plant & other equipment's, machineries, tools and plants, accessories, consumables, materials, labour etc. complete as per following details- a) In case of welding by mobile flash butt welding plant in-situ or on Cess, the rate quoted should include earthwork in formation with contractor's own earth including dressing of slopes of embankment, leading cut soils to a location/ locations as directed by the Engineer or his authorized representatives for stabling and working of the mobile flash butt welding plant, making/cutting of existing/new rail panels for flash butt welding under traffic block, cutting of existing rails at the joints so as to remove heat affected zone/fish bolt holes under traffic block, Flash butt welding of rails including insertion of closer rails with fittings for movement of trains after traffic block etc. complete in all respect. The rate quoted should also include pre strengthening of rails, matching rail ends, preparation of aligning, positioning, stripping of rail joints, grinding and finishing of joints, USFD testing of flash butt weld/AT welded joints, segregating defective rails, post strengthening of joints, handling/leading of rails/rail panels, removing and refixing off fitting /fastening, all necessary lifting, pulling, handling of rail panels, adjustment of welding gap as required, loosening, tightening, removal, re-fixing, of fittings, fastenings, mobilization of flash butt welding plant with contractors own labour, machinery, tools, plants etc. with all lead, lift, descent, royalty, taxes etc. complete in all respects per direction of Engineer or his authorized representatives. The cut rails shall have to be returned to PWI depot by the contractor at his own cost. The contractor at his own cost has to establish equality control organization to ensure adequate control at all stages . Unless otherwise superseded by the stipulations of this contract, the welding process, all flash butt welding related activities and methodology will be governed by the "Manual for flash butt welding of rails (April 2022)"with up to date correction slips issued by Research Design and Standard Organization((RDSO) Ministry Of Railways Lucknow.- For 20 rail panels.
