Part-A (Road Work)

Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled material upto a lead of 100 m, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials seperately as per technical specification clause mord 202

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and for all lift,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation and surface treatment of formation by removing mud and slurry, watering to the extent needed to maintain the desired moisture content, trimming to the required line, grade, profile and rolling with smooth wheeled roller, complete as per clause 310.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded material, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on perpared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratoy roller to achieve the desired density complete as per clause 401.

Providing, laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mecahnical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, liying in uniform layer with paver in sub-base/base course on well perpared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepard surface of granuller base inclding clening of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.75 Kg/Sqm using machical means.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per square metres on the prepared bitumenous /granuler surface cleaned with mechanical broom

Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with higher capacity batch type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects.
