Door to door collection of garbage, segregation & Cleaning/Sweeping of Municipal Council Manali & adjoining area including segregation of waste ( Dry & wet waste ). i.e. road,street, drain, nallahs ,etc, . The Door to door collection of garbage shall be done at each single Household/Shop/Business Unit/Building/ commercial area & Govt. Institution/Banks falls under the jurisdiction of Municipal Council Manali & adjoining area including segregation waste ( Dry & wet waste ) i/c in all leads & lifts.The Commercial area means the area approachable to the main vehicles on both sides of road i.e. Shops, banks, Offices & other commercial & Govt. Institution. The collection of garbage should be in accordance with M.S.W. rule 2016 of Municipal Council Manali. Disposal of dead animals, cutting of bushes, removal of tree/branches and removal of posters and cremation of un-known/un-identified human bodies shall be done by the contractor.Daily emptying, cleaning and maintenance of litterbins of the Municipal Council Manali The contractor should have healthy 15 No’s garbage collectors / Waste Collector/ Street Sweepers duly certified by Medical Officer regarding their health & Efficiency to execute the work. It should be ensured that at least 70% of the workers should be males. All workers should be between 18-60 years of age.The WASTE so collected by labour during Cleaning / Sweeping & door to door garbage collection shall be transported in covered vehicles & disposed at Dumping station by the contractor.
