Repair /maintenance of emergency breakdown of existing internal water supply and fixing water supply pipes of size 15/20 mm of any description under 5-8 feet snow during winter season and making internal water supply system through by using blow lamp and by replacing defective pipes/Small GI fittings (elbow/Tee/socket/nipple etc)/Gate valve/ stop valve etc including T&P at Palchan Transit camp station all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The location where work is to be carried out will be informed and given as per complaints received during winter season for :- (a) 217 transit camp Palchan, complete area. (b) Old Transit Camp Palchan. NOTES: (i) The Contractor will employe a Supervisor. The Supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE for attending complaints and to give feed back and also to receive particular internal water supply Complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the internal water supply system. (ii) He will arrange sufficeint labour and T&P to remove 5-8 feet snow and clearing site for plumber to address the complaint with in 12 hrs after complaint received. Plumber deployed by the contractor will replace the pipes/Small GI fittings (elbow/Tee/ socket/ nipple etc)/Gate valve/ stop valve etc. make water supply through by melding frozen pipes using blow lamp or any other means as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) For any default/delay in attending the complaints recovery shall be effected as per contract conditions provided here-in-after. (iv) T & P and blow lamp as requiered for the work shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the deptt. (v) Supervisor engaged by the contractor shall take all necessary preventative safety measures and adequate precautions to avoid any health hazard to work in extreme cold weather conditions and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence. (Material used in complaint will be measured and paid separately under respective items)
