COOLING WATER : SCOPE OF THE WORK INVOLVES:YARD TO SUPPLY COOLING WATER LINES FOR FRIDGE AND/OR AIR CONDITIONING UNITS DURING THE TIME WHEN VESSEL IS IN DRY DOCK ASSUME SUPPLY THROUGH TWO LINES. COST OF CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION TO BE INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE. PLEASE NOTE: IN CASE COOLING WATER SUPPLY AS ABOVE IS COMMON WITH FIRE MAIN LINE YARD TO TAKE ADEQUATE PRESSURE IS MAINTAINED IN FIRE MAIN LINE AT ALL TIMES.

Supply and lay 3 layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) pipes SDR 7.4 & SDR 11UV stablised and antimicrobial fusion welded having thrmal stability for hot & cold water supply all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene fittings compete laid in trenches of size of outer dia 110mm pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

100.9.8:Laying uPVC pipes of class 2 to class 6 and specials, lowering to the trenches already made, placing in position aligning the pipeline to the lines and levels and jointing the pipes and specials with solvent cement and testing the pipeline with water to the required test pressure (excluding cost of pipes and specials): 90 mm nominal outside diameter pipes.

Providing and laying non-pressure of specified class R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement: 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete Non-pressure NP-3 class (Heavy duty) R.C.C. pipes 1000 mm dia. R.C.C. pipe (laying by manual/mechanical means)
